Fall Cleansing
I'm doing a 1 day colon cleanse kit today, I've done one each of the past two months while keeping a super clean diet in between. They are insanely effective at clearing uneliminated digestive waste and plaque. Today I'm also starting a dieta with the bobisana tincture. I've never done this before, but it is used for grief and heart opening. I've been processing a lot of grief as I resolve the vision dysfunction that has been throwing a wrench into my life since I was 15. So let's see how it goes! I'll report more on this as I go!

@David Stock I don't think I've met a single friend online, now that I think of it.

I think at least few more hours are needed before friendship is achieved in that regard
Efficiency
What does it mean to be efficient? I found this definition that speaks to my desire for a more focused life: Acting or producing effectively with a minimum of waste, expense, or unnecessary effort.

I feel some resistance to using the word efficiency, linking it to the capitalist tendency to prioritize results over process. For instance, traditional fine furniture making versus modern factory process. One is much less efficient, and yet more real, connected, and human. So I don't want to be efficient. Passionate? Yes. Skilled? Yes. Persistent? Yes.

@Reko Vitae well yes there's the reality of being unskilled versus skilled. And a certain level of efficiency occurs as one increases skill. So I can't ignore that. But you will never get maximum or even medium efficiency hand making a didg. So I guess what I am saying is that focus on efficiency as the highest goal can lead to an emptiness of meaning, emptiness of form, in the pursuit of the bottom line.

Either have purpose or do not have purpose. Stay clear of the middle ground however.
What are your favorite books?
Hey fellas, as you probably know Manu and I are big on reading. We love to learn and engage with a variety of subjects. Share with us the most impactful book you’ve read recently, and what you took from it, so we can all benefit from its gold! This can even deepen your own learning, by reflecting on what insights you gained. Make a post with your favorite books, engage with each other, ask questions, let’s support each others learning. What subjects do you want to explore, research, learn about? Post about it and ask for recommendations on resources, books, podcasts, etc. Help each other grow and learn! This space is an opportunity to build connections around deeper, and more meaningful interests. We hear all the time how much men yearn for the opportunity to talk about your passions and inquiries. That is why we have created this group. It is not only for us to share what we know, but a chance for you to support, and get supported, by one another.

@Reko Vitae The Overstory would be the next one for your mom to read then IMO. You should get them Fire Weather for xmas. Same author as Golden Spruce. Incredible. Well researched. And scary!

@Matthew Learning I agree that "we're barely the author of our life" ... If we have any authorship at all, it pretty much boils down to: How do I choose to focus my attention?
