Pigeon update: every .nim name now has a home (site, shop, QR till)
Since the first post, Pigeon grew a second half. Every name you register in Pigeon now has a cell in Hive (https://hive.heylogram.com), and Pigeon's home screen opens it. What a name can do now: - Site and domain: upload a built site as a .zip or link your own server, then connect a domain you bought. The certificate comes by itself. - A shop: list products in signed settings. Buyers pay wallet to wallet, and the order turns "paid" only when the payment is seen on chain. - A QR till for the counter: type 12 NIM, show the QR, the customer scans it in Nimiq Pay, the screen turns green. Tested with a real payment on mainnet. - Tips, and a database with server-side field rules, so a fake score or a 6-star review is refused by the server. - Sub-names live inside the cell, and a player picks which name an app shows. On a computer, sign in with the Heylogram Wallet extension, or use the Webboos browser: type garura.nim in the address bar and the cell's site opens. PhoenixWire — Send a payment like you send a message
Hi everyone! Here’s a first look at PhoenixWire, the project I’m preparing PhoenixWire grew out of PhoenixMail, my email application. After integrating Nimiq Cashlinks into emails, I wanted to go further: protect a payment with a verification code sent to the recipient’s email. Then came a slightly crazy idea: could we bring that experience to NIM, USDC and USDT? That became PhoenixWire. One payment. One card. One email. Choose a currency, enter an amount and the recipient’s email, fund the card, and send it. The recipient opens the card, confirms their email with a six-digit code, and chooses where to receive the funds. The card link alone isn’t enough to claim a protected payment. For NIM, you can fund your card directly from Nimiq Pay or Nimiq Wallet, and the recipient can receive their NIM directly into either one. PhoenixWire supports: - NIM on Nimiq. - USDC on Polygon. - USDT on Polygon or Ethereum. The sender can also recover the funds while the payment remains unclaimed. A small preview of the cards Here are two examples of the actual NIM and USDC cards: Explore PhoenixWire https://phoenixmail.ca/#phoenixwire It’s still a work in progress, and the protected claim process relies on the verification service and email delivery. The goal is simple: make sending crypto feel familiar, with Nimiq’s Cashlink experience at the heart of the idea. I’d love to hear your thoughts! ( Open public test soon ) Yep, I changed my mind — I’ll be joining Cycle 3 after all, as soon as the registration page is working again! ;) Was it the prize money, boredom, or just a little madness? Maybe a bit of all three… who knows? ;)

Running a Campaign On PACT With $NIM !!!
If $5 in $NIM for 4 people is not small for you guys, I would be dropping a campaign soon!! PACT just completed its first real payment, end to end, on two phones inside Nimiq Pay. My friend and I ran it like a real job. I posted an invite only campaign and sent it straight to his wallet. He opened it, read the exact terms, and accepted. Then we both signed the agreement with our Nimiq wallets, and the terms locked. Then I paid 10 NIM from the agreement. The wallet sending it only marked it as sent. PACT then read the Nimiq network itself, found the transaction for the right amount, to the right person, carrying the agreement’s reference in its memo, and only then showed it as verified. No escrow, no middleman holding funds. Wallet to wallet, with a record both sides can check. Built for the @nimiq Mini Apps Competition pact-nimiq.vercel.app
