Morning team šŸ‘Š Let’s talk EASTER… šŸ£šŸ«
This is where a lot of people either: šŸ‘‰ Stay on track šŸ‘‰ Or completely fall off But here’s the truth… One Easter meal or a chocolate egg will NOT ruin your progress. What does ruin progress is: āŒ Turning 1 meal into a full weekend binge āŒ Saying ā€œI’ll restart Mondayā€ āŒ Losing all structure šŸ½ļø Let’s break it down: 1. The Easter roast (yes, even lamb) - Absolutely fine šŸ‘ - Focus on: Protein first (lamb, chicken, etc.) Load your plate with veg Be mindful with extras (oils, sauces, massive portions) - šŸ‘‰ You don’t need to avoid it — just control it 2. Chocolate eggs šŸ« - You can 100% have some - The issue isn’t the chocolate… it’s the quantity šŸ‘‰ Tip: - Don’t pick all day - Have a set portion and move on 3. The REAL key: structure Ask yourself: - Did I hit my steps? - Did I train? - Did I stick to my meals outside of that one treat? If the answer is YES… you’re winning šŸ‘ šŸ”„ The mindset shift: You’re not on a ā€œdietā€ You’re building a lifestyle where: āœ” You can enjoy occasions āœ” Stay in control āœ” Keep progressing Bottom line: šŸ‘‰ Enjoy Easter šŸ‘‰ Stay disciplined around it šŸ‘‰ Don’t turn 1 day into 3–4 days off plan Drop a ā€œEASTERā€ below if you’re staying on track this weekend šŸ‘‡šŸ”„

Dreading it & not for chocolate reasons , just a wedding to attend all day Saturday so more food / drinks that are not all entirely within my control! Means the rest of weekend needs to be tight.
Morning everyone
Out this morning getting my fasted cardio in and I’ll be honest… since getting back from Mexico it’s been a bit hit and miss. But that’s life, we reset and go again šŸ‘Š A question I get a lot is… when is actually the best time to do cardio? Truth is, there isn’t a ā€œperfectā€ time. It depends more on what you can stay consistent with rather than chasing the ā€œoptimalā€ setup. Fasted cardio (first thing in the morning before food) is great for routine. It gets it done early, clears your head, and sets the tone for the day. Some people feel it helps with fat loss, but in reality the difference is minimal compared to your overall daily calories. The biggest win here is discipline and consistency. Post-workout cardio is also a solid option. You’re already in the gym, body is warm, and it can help you push a bit harder or just tick it off without needing another session later. You can even split it up across the day with steps, walks, or shorter sessions. It all counts. The key thing to understand is this… fat loss comes from being in a calorie deficit over time. Cardio is just a tool to help create that deficit. So instead of worrying about the ā€œbestā€ time, focus on this: what time can you realistically stick to week in, week out? That’s your best time. Get it done when you can, stay consistent, and the results will follow šŸ‘Š

I use good probiotics as my foundation (Optibac extra or gut health gummies) daily. Alongside I have EAA’s, creatine , protein whey, bit of pre workout on training days and a good magnesium at night to help sleep.
Back Home and Ready to Push Into Summer Shred
Not posted on here for a little while as I’ve been away in Mexico, but I’m now into my final few days out here and I’ll be honest, I’m ready to get back, back into routine, back into training properly and back working closely with you all. I’ll be travelling back over the weekend and should land in the UK Monday morning after a long journey. I’ll more than likely spend Monday catching up on sleep as I know I won’t sleep on the flight, plus the five hour time difference always hits me hard. From Tuesday, it’s game on. I’m getting straight back into structure and I’ll also be kicking off my own Summer Shred, so you’ll be able to follow that journey alongside me, see exactly what I’m doing, how I’m eating, training and tightening things up. I want to bring more value into this group and get everyone moving forward properly again. So I want to hear from you. What do you want more of in here? Q and As Recipes Training focus Fat loss education Mindset Check in breakdowns Client transformations Drop it below and I’ll build the content around what you need most. Let’s get everyone locked in and pushing forward.

Please help provide guidance for those that like a ā€˜within reason’ drink on a weekend (spirit and slimline tonic) and don’t get wasted / take the Micheal with food when have one or two, just like a few nice ones to decompress and relax one night of the weekend - how’s best to stay on track food wise as aware More Susceptible to the odd treat (often belonging to the kids! ) when had a drink despite buying the right snacks for Myself In advance. A handful Of Crisps, Two mini eggs etc can soon add Up! Unfortunately I can’t remove all snacks from house the kids are very good and their treats are weekend treats only, so I don’t want to remove their fun, nor do I fancy not having a drink on a Saturday night - it’s my once a week vice after stressy weeks!
Coach Away… But The Mission Continues šŸ’Ŗ
Just because the coach is away on holiday doesn’t mean the journey stops. This is not a ā€œcoach away so I can playā€ situation. Your results come from the daily non-negotiables: • Get your cardio done • Hit your training sessions • Stay on track with your nutrition • Keep on top of your check-ins Remember, the progress you’re making right now is for you, not just for me. Consistency when nobody is watching is what separates those who change their body from those who stay the same. I’ll be dropping back in tomorrow to see how everyone is getting on, so keep pushing and keep ticking those boxes. Let’s keep the momentum going. šŸ”„ — Coach Simon
