🚀 I’m Starting a 7-Day Challenge. Will You Join Me? 🤗
Starting today, Sunday February 22nd, I’m doing something simple. No direct sugar. 🍨 No sweets. No ice cream. No treats. No sugar in coffee. At least for one week. Probably two. Here’s why. I’ve been dealing with chronic back pain for a while now. I’m not 100% sure what’s driving it, but I do know something about myself: I’m a sweet tooth. (understatement warning! 🤣) And I strongly suspect sugar is making the inflammation worse. So instead of guessing… I’m testing. One week. Clean. No direct sugar. And we’ll observe what happens. Now here’s where you come in. 🫂 Many of you have mentioned that you’re sensitive to: • Sugar • Salt • Dairy • Caffeine • Or something else entirely Maybe there’s one thing you know probably isn’t helping your system… but you keep going back to it. What if we treat this like an experiment instead of a restriction? I’m inviting you to join me. Pick your thing (comment below). For 7 days. And we’ll check in once a day in the comments below. Just something simple like: Day 1 – Doing well Day 3 – Struggling Day 5 – Headache today Day 7 – Noticed better sleep You can vent. Ask for help. Celebrate small wins. No judgment. No perfection required. Just awareness and accountability. At the end of the week, we’ll evaluate together. And if it’s helping, we can continue into March. If not, we adjust. This is about becoming more intentional with what affects our nervous system. Who’s in? 💚

@Guy Cohen I haven't noticed that there is any affect on it. I feel like it very hard to pinpoint what affects it more. Certainly, waking up in the middle of the night has to be the worst, at least for me. The pink noise does help.

@Guy Cohen I have not but am willing to try. Keeping a diabetes journal sounds like a great idea also.
🎧 A Small Favor (That Helps Us All ❤️)
Hey everyone, I need a little help, and it’s an easy one! If you’re already using sound therapy tracks on YouTube, it would mean a lot if you could use the ones on my channel for a while. I’m trying to grow the total play hours on my Sound Therapy Playlist, and every minute you listen helps the channel reach more people who need relief. You can just pick any of the tracks you like from the playlist and play them in the background as usual — nature sounds, pink noise, shower sounds, anything that feels good. 🎵 Click here to access the playlist (If you prefer individual tracks, that’s perfectly fine too — they all count!) Thank you so much for being part of this community and helping me spread more calm to more ears! 🙏 Yours truly, (tinnitus) Guy. PS - Please comment below if you'd like me to add more sound therapies, and what sounds would you like me to focus on.

Definitely going to give these a try. Getting back to sleep is always the hardest for me, so I'm hopeful one of these will help.
Reminder - I'm traveling between Dec 21-29
....therefore my response time will be slower and probably less posts. 😊 Happy holidays, everyone!!

The #1 Reason Tinnitus Relief Stalls (And It’s Not What You Think)
One pattern I see again and again with people struggling with tinnitus is this: They’re trying everything. New sound therapy... New breathing techniques... New supplements.... New reassurance videos... New opinions from forums, doctors, YouTube, Reddit.... On the surface, this looks like effort and motivation. But underneath, it often creates the exact opposite effect. Because the nervous system doesn’t adapt to constant change. It adapts to consistency, predictability, and safety. When you keep switching tools, explanations, and approaches, your system never gets a clear signal. It stays alert, scanning, waiting for the next thing to fix the problem. Even good tools can fail in that state. This is one of the main reasons people end up saying: “Nothing works for me.” Not because tinnitus relief is impossible. But because nothing was applied long enough, calmly enough, or in a way that actually matched their nervous system. I’ve lived this myself...! Early on, I jumped between approaches, constantly asking: “Am I doing the right thing?” “Should I try something else?” “Why is this helping someone else but not me?” All that did was keep my system on edge. Real progress usually starts when: - You reduce the number of inputs - You stop chasing every new idea - You choose a small number of tools that fit your specific situation - And you apply them consistently, without panic This doesn’t mean ignoring symptoms. It doesn’t mean “doing nothing.” It means giving your system one clear message instead of ten conflicting ones. Relief isn’t about doing more. It’s about doing less, but doing it right. And the hardest part for most people isn’t commitment. It’s knowing which tools actually make sense for them, and which ones are just adding more noise. I’m curious about your experience 👇 - How many different approaches have you tried so far? - Do you feel like you’re doing too much, or constantly switching? - Has anything helped a bit, but not consistently?

@John Clifford I agree. I have tried several, yet nothing helped. Going to go with Guy all the way until I get some relief.
