I've been lucky enough to interview some of these absolute legends: 🌱 Chef Babette — 75 and seemingly defying age with her strength, energy and attitude to life! 🌱 Ingrid Newkirk — after decades leading PETA, she's certainly NOT finished advocating for animals. 🌱 Captain Paul Watson — 75 and STILL fighting for our oceans. 🌱 Dr. Michael Klaper — 79 and as passionate as ever about changing the future of medicine. 🌱 Richard H. Schwartz — 92 and STILL writing, educating and advocating for a better world. And then there's someone right at the TOP of my "haven't interviewed YET" list… Rich Roll. Who recently celebrated his 60th birthday with this photo and three fabulous words: "THIS IS 60." 💪🔥 I LOVE IT! And I love even more something Rich shared eight years ago that has stayed with me: "I didn't reach my athletic peak until I was 43. I didn't write my first book until I was 44. I didn't start my podcast until I was 45. At 30, I thought my life was over. At 52, I know it's just beginning." THAT resonates deeply with me. 💚 Because I don't want to spend the next few decades looking back at what I USED to be able to do. I want to keep getting stronger. Keep learning. Keep contributing. Keep fighting for what matters. Keep finding new challenges that excite me. More LIFE. More purpose. More possibilities. But some women date Harry the Hoarder, home every night, yet he won't spend a dime, not even on flowers. Some date Sal the Spender — life of the party, broke by Friday. Grant the Giver gives everything to everybody else and has nothing left for you. Sam the Saver is steady, bless him, but never lets you have any fun. Ian the Investor only ever talks about "someday." And Maverick the Money Maker? Never home either, always chasing the next deal. HER: So which one am I dating? MONEY: That's the question, isn't it? You've been blaming me. But the personality you get depends on the woman doing the dating. HER: And how am I supposed to figure that out? MONEY: Get honest. Look at how we actually spend our time together.
