🌟 How I became a top 100 Skool community 🌟
The moment you've all been waiting for! The other day, I posted that my community, Focus Founders, became a top 100 Skool community in the "self-improvement" category. 31 people voted for me to share my secrets of how I did it... so here you go: Step 1: Start a community. Duh. Step 2: Talk to people. Network. Care. Show up every day. Step 3: ??? Step 4: Profit. That's it! Now you have a top 100 Skool community. Just kidding πŸ˜…πŸ«Ά That IS what I did in a nutshell. But let's get more specific... I joined Skool years ago without knowing anything about it. I just signed up for an online course, watched the course, and forgot Skool existed. Joined a few others over the years, same thing. Then, in February of this year, I got serious about Skool. I opened my first community and started dabbling. Didn't care about the fire, didn't show up every day, didn't know the ⭐ existed. It was pretty much just a way to capture leads for my coaching. I brought my local community onto it, but no one really engaged. Crickets πŸ¦— That is... until I joined Goosify and made it my mission to get the ⭐. Since then, here is everything I did to get into the top 100 that has worked well: 1️⃣ I launched a 30-day "Scattered to Focused" challenge in September. I announced it about 5 days before the start of the month to give people time to prepare - and I told EVERYONE about it. I DM'd every single person in my community. I told people about it at local networking meetups and during game nights with friends. I invited everyone to come join and get a hold of their ADHD and get focused on their goals. About 30 people ended up taking me up on it. The rules were simple: Pick a goal for September and make a post in the group every single day with a repeat of your goal, a reflection on what you did that day towards the goal and how it went, and a commitment for the ONE thing you were going to do the next day. I also asked everyone to commit to commenting on each other's posts to root each other on. I actually made them create a post that said:

What's up with your Inner Bodyguard?
I've been doing a lot of work lately on understanding this fascinating aspect of ourselves, which I like to call our "inner bodyguard" - and I'm absolutely fascinated by how differently it manifests in different people. You know that voice that pops up right when you're about to do something awesome? The one that's like: "WHOA THERE, TIGER. What if people think you're weird? What if you fail? What if you succeed and then everyone expects you to be successful ALL THE TIME? Better just... not." I've learned that this little bodyguard genuinely believes it's helping - it's still trying to protect us from the mean kids on the playground, except now the "playground" is... well, life! πŸ™ƒ Through my own journey of understanding this part of myself also my clients, I've noticed some common patterns: - Making us second-guess compliments ("They're just being nice") - Convincing us our ideas aren't ready yet (spoiler: they're never "ready") - Turning exciting opportunities into anxiety festivals But here's what I find so interesting - everyone's inner bodyguard has its own unique style and strategies! Some people get the perfectionist version, others get the people-pleaser, and some get the "play it safe at all costs" model. I love learning from people about their experiences with this. What does YOUR inner bodyguard specialise in? Does it have any particularly creative strategies for keeping you "safe"? I'm always curious to hear how this shows up differently for different people - it helps me understand the whole concept even better and improve the work I'm doing in my community. πŸ’œ Tell me more! πŸ˜‚

@Sheena Mason-White i would have to agree strongly with that. with all my research and lived experiences. the primary thing holding us back is our skeletons that we push under the rub and our shadow. majority of people run from all of it or walk with it with unbearable amounts of shame
My community broke into the top 100! 🌟
At the start of September, I set off on a journey to post every day until I got the top 1% ⭐ I was inspired by @Michelle McCartney and her journey as she posted daily. That led me to creating a 30-day challenge in my own group and rallying my community so we could all achieve our goals together. I got over 30 people to join in on what I called the "30-Day Scattered-to-Focused Challenge." And today, we hit a big milestone! We are officially in the top 100 Skool communities in the "Self-improvement" category at position 94!!! Still a ways from top 30, but I am DETERMINED! (For reference, I started tracking it last month at rank 774!) I could NOT have done this without this group. In particular, I want to thank @Rebecca Bautista for rallying the troops today to help us break into the top 100. She made a post tagging everyone and inviting them into a GIF war, she posted here in Goosify, she DM'd people... just truly went above and beyond to help us reach this milestone. Incredibly grateful for you, Rebecca!! I also want to thank @Goose Dunlavey for creating this awesome group and introducing me to amazing people like my blitz partner @Becky Teresa, the Dean of Dumbassery herself @Samanda Rasmussen, and many others who have been with me along this journey! Looking at you πŸ‘€ @Rositsa Aleksandrova @Mindy Molein @Tiffany Noel Taylor @Jen Ritchie @Sarah Hankins @Sheena Mason-White @Kai Lorenz @Kirsten Mathews Would it be useful if I shared some of the things I've learned along the way with y'all?

Money means nothing at the end of the day but living forever has so many unknown opportunities. Yeah yeah. I know some with argue my choose as wrong. But either way take the money or immortality, you are taking a risk that could make or brake you. To me immortality has a higher reward in mys

@Bill Widmer infinite time i could gain all the knowledge of the world and all the ancient secrets i could then give to the world. And raise unimaginable amounts of money to give back to those who actually need it
