Busyyyy day! Woke up early and had a great breakfast, got our groceries, then cleaned the house before hosting Wesley’s friend and her mom for a play date. No workout “officially” but 5,223 steps so far for today. Not bad for a rest day lol. Depending on how I feel tomorrow I may do an upper body workout. I wanted to do it today but didn’t have the time. I made the best protein ice cream today and I will make it tomorrow as well as my own pizza for the Super Bowl! I am so excited! Hope everyone has had a great Saturday so far and is staying warm!

Strong!
It’s Saturday! Riley woke up at 3am-ish. So, I figured I would stay up and get my workout done once she was settled again. Second day of Dig In and it’s still no joke! I’m still finding it hard to get comfortable in some moves that I know I was doing so well this time last year. But, again, giving myself grace as I’ll get back to that again, soon. My goal is still to get back to my prepregnancy weight by the end of the year. It’ll be hard, but I’ve done hard things before. Anyways, I feel like I’m getting stronger again. I’m starting to lift heavier weights and focusing on the engaging the muscles during the workout. I’ve noticed a difference. My wrist isn’t as sore as it was a few weeks ago, and I’ve been able to hold a bear for longer. Still a work in progress.

Love this thing
This walk pad is a life savor…I’m too summer for winter and this little guy has gotten me moving. It will no doubt carry into the warmer months on rainy days or night time when I need a bit of motion. Sticking with the 10 minutes “program” until I’m done so I did two 10 minutes (arms and legs) and a 15 minute walk while listening to the Body Mindset this morning.

It’s so friggin cold here. I am soo done with winter. Figuring out next workout so tried a bunch of different ones this am to settle on hybrid of made4 uplift and chop wood carry water.
