It can be goalkeeper related or just something completely random! I genuinely believe one of the biggest superpowers any goalkeeper can develop is the ability to laugh at themselves. Because when you can laugh at yourself, those nasty comments from other players, parents or people on the sidelines become water off a duck’s back. Learning to laugh at yourself gives you armour. The next time someone tries to get under your skin, just give them a cheeky smile. Once they realise they cannot get to you, they normally stop trying! So I was selected for Devon ETC under 14s Devon Schools team under 14s Plymouth Argyle JPL under 14s Exeter City JPL under 14s Buzzing to be offered a place at each and chose Devon ETC and Devon schools team plus Exeter JPL this season . Then some great news as invited to play for East Cornwall Plymouth Argyle so still get to play and train with Andy Meads J4K coach at Argyle. One very lucky GK here.

Both girls are back home after a long but brilliant season,Lily (Birmingham City),Freya(Chelsea FC),and both have come in to J4K to do some coaching,what a great opportunity for the J4K keepers ,Lily & Freya taking 121’s and attending group sessions and the group session where their journey began.Talking to the GKs passing on their experiences of J4K ,PAFC ,England pathway.Here in Devon there are few pathways into the professional game so the J4K GKs seeing Lily & Freya doing well only inspires and drives them to work hard and follow your dreams❤️🧤

I’m down in Devon & Cornwall and the temperature is exceeded 30 degrees,we still train but my biggest advice is HYDRATION,,don’t just drink during your session,ensure your fuelled in the right manner,WATER not Fizzy drinks,Water prior to,during,& after session,Maybe worth wearing a cap,look after yourselves ❤️🧤
