Are we close to Artificial General Intelligence (AGI)?
A recent comment from Elon Musk on AI: "I now think @xAI has a chance of reaching AGI with @Grok 5. Never thought that before...." What is AGI? AGI = “general-purpose AI.” It could learn any intellectual task a human can, across subjects from math to cooking to law to trading; and adapt without needing to be retrained for each new thing. AGI would have flexibility and reasoning abilities similar to humans, while today’s AI systems are still very specialized. Fun times ahead!!

Welcome @Iván Terrero
When Fundamentals Does Not Make Sense
I am following UEC, IONQ, RGTI and some others. These companies have negative EPS and almost no revenues, but the stock price have appreciated more than 100% in last couple of months. These are not meme stocks. Sometimes fundamental analysis does not make sense, but opportunities do.

Yep, small companies under rapid growth often make no profit and have high debt. The question will be over the longer term, do they survive and then do they become profitable companies, year after year, and maintain growth. These companies become super companies if they survive, eg Nvidia, Google, Apple, Microsoft etc. Even harder today as all companies will have access to super smart AI.

Is the Small Cap Breakout Finally Here?
While the S&P 500 was hitting over 80 all-time highs since the start of 2024, Small Caps were simply in recovery mode, still clawing back the losses from the 2022 bear market. That changed last week with the Russell 2000 Index hitting its first all-time high since November 2021. Will it continue? Thanks to Charlie Bilello
