Daily journal prompt - Monday
We know journalling works. It’s proven to help with stress, clarity, mindset… So why don’t we actually do it? 🤔 Be honest — is it… • You forget? • You don’t know what to write? • You don’t have time (aka it’s not top of the list)? • It feels awkward or difficult to face what’s really going on? • You start, then fall off when life gets busy? Today’s prompt: “What really stops me from journalling consistently, even though I know it helps?” Sometimes the insight isn’t in the journalling itself, but in why we’re not doing it…

I need to form a habit of doing it. I can be really good for 3 weeks then forget for 3 weeks - it doesn't even cross my mind. I have a new morning routine and need to think about stacking it as part of that. Question - could journalling be talking to yourself as you walk ? Or does it need to be the physical act of writing ?
Happy Birthday
Happy birthday @Vicky Labinger. I hope you’ve got something amazing happening?

@Hayley Partridge we've been to Rome, Florence, Pisa (wk1) and Lake Garda (wk2). Weather has been mixed but hot enough to sit around tbe lake and chill, as well as swim in the pool. We travel home today (friday)
Daily Journal prompt - Wednesday
I’m going a bit lighter today. If you could swap jobs with anyone for just one day, real or imaginary, who would it be, and why? Have fun with it. This isn’t about being “sensible” or “deep”. It’s just about noticing what excites you, inspires you, or just makes you smile. I’ll come back on this one when I’ve sat with it for a minute.

@Hayley Partridge I wouldn't mind spending the day with George Clarke 🤣
Workaholic?
I was discussing with a client this week about being called a workaholic. I get called it a lot and my client had been called it this week. Another client told me she loves being referred to as ‘Superwoman’. We started unpacking it together and realised that, despite the usual negative spin, neither of us felt offended by it. For us, it was about passion, drive, and the joy of building something meaningful. You do have to be obsessed with what you’re building. Is that the same thing? Have you ever been called a workaholic? How do you or would you feel about being called a workaholic? - Does it land as criticism, or a compliment? - Where’s the line for you between working hard and working too much? Why not take a few minutes to journal on it, then share if you’re comfortable to do so. I’m gong to be digging further into this one myself and I’ll come back to share because we cant discuss this one without discussing burnout.

Hello Hello
I'm Vicky & it's great to be here. I live in Essex, UK and as well as being a mother, wife, and dog lover I run 2 businesses. My girls are 24 & 21 and currently traveling together in Asia. My pooch is spoilt 4 year old black lab called Bucky. I offer business mentoring and strategy support through my personal business, and own the WIBN (Women in Business Network) Essex franchise. I run 7 face to face networking groups across Essex each month. For the rest of 2025 I am focused on 3 things: 1) Getting back on track with my health and well being 2) Building my WIBN network with new members, and retaining existing. 3) Selling out the 30 spaces at my face to face Future Ready 2026 workshops in December. Everything else is just noise and distraction 😀

@Hayley Partridge Selling the workshop tickets is the biggest. I am back on track with my health and been to the gym 14x in the last 17 days. I am off on holiday for 2 weeks on Sunday so I wanted to get back in while I could. WIBN is on track - I've got a plan. For the workshops I have invested with a connection to build social media posts for me, and I'm doing personal reach outs. It kicked off yesterday so very much early days. Its all set to run while I am away so hoping to at least get some interest. I'd love the 2 dates to sell out, and then put 2 more dates in for January.
