Hey! Remember me. Sorry Ive been AWOL. Jan has been a bit.... a lot, crazy. In a good way. We started, as you know, flying out to Tenerife for our retreat with our clients. We arrive back in the office on the 12th, not just with Christmas, New Year and the retreat to get over, but having invested in a new business in the first week of January (somewhat unexpectedly) 🤯. Alongside that I've been onboarding new clients across the businesses and doing lots of 1:1 strategy sessions which I absolutely love. I did one today, another booked for tomorrow and then another on Tuesday. What a month January has been but you can't say it hasn't got off to an absolutely flying start. As I said in Tenerife, we weren't out that escaping life, we were out there creating life! So, enough about me... how is at all for you? Let me know your wins and challenges of 2026 so far.

What did you get up to last night? Was it an early night or did you dance the night away and see the new year in with fizz? I was in bed by 10pm. I don’t really do New Year. I never have, not even when I used to love to party. On Monday I fly out to Tenerife with clients for a week of business strategising and my partner and I will take some time to do our own goals (business and strategy). the creative juices just seem to flow better in the sunshine ☀️. Do you do goal setting at the start of the year? Do you do New Year’s resolutions? Research shows that less than 9% of New year resolutions are successful 😱. On the other hand goal setting when done PROPERLY have a success rate of over 70% ⭐️ . Do you do either? Has your method been successful in the past? Are you too hungover to care today 🤣🤣. I hope you all had a really lovely Christmas 🎄 Are you feeling rested… or properly pooped? One thing I’ve noticed this year (and loved) is how many people seem to have taken a proper break. Fewer rushing, fewer “I should be doing…” thoughts, and more actual switching off. Of course it means next week, I'm going to be getting a lot of 'I can't get back into the swing of things, help me with motivation' type of coaching 🤣. I’d love to hear how Christmas was for you. Did you manage to rest at all? Do anything that felt nourishing or unexpectedly good? Or was it full-on chaos with moments of joy sprinkled in? (Also valid and relatable.)
