What did you get up to last night? Was it an early night or did you dance the night away and see the new year in with fizz? I was in bed by 10pm. I don’t really do New Year. I never have, not even when I used to love to party. On Monday I fly out to Tenerife with clients for a week of business strategising and my partner and I will take some time to do our own goals (business and strategy). the creative juices just seem to flow better in the sunshine ☀️. Do you do goal setting at the start of the year? Do you do New Year’s resolutions? Research shows that less than 9% of New year resolutions are successful 😱. On the other hand goal setting when done PROPERLY have a success rate of over 70% ⭐️ . Do you do either? Has your method been successful in the past? Are you too hungover to care today 🤣🤣. I hope you all had a really lovely Christmas 🎄 Are you feeling rested… or properly pooped? One thing I’ve noticed this year (and loved) is how many people seem to have taken a proper break. Fewer rushing, fewer “I should be doing…” thoughts, and more actual switching off. Of course it means next week, I'm going to be getting a lot of 'I can't get back into the swing of things, help me with motivation' type of coaching 🤣. I’d love to hear how Christmas was for you. Did you manage to rest at all? Do anything that felt nourishing or unexpectedly good? Or was it full-on chaos with moments of joy sprinkled in? (Also valid and relatable.) Hey 👋. I’ve been a bit quiet this week, sorry. With being away Monday and Tuesday on a 1:1 business retreat and then playing catch up with all my client appointments it’s been bonkers! What have you been up to this week and what are your weekend plans? I know @Kay Rowlands flies of to New York today, lucky duck. I’ll be seeing @Gemma Stone for dinner tomorrow 😊 and Sunday will be Christmas wrapping day (for the ones I have bought anyway 🫣. What about you? 🎄
