Early AM Scent of the morning: Starting this morning early with Citizen Jack Absolute. This opens with a really juicy melon and bergamot that immediately gives it a fresh, almost uplifting quality. As it starts to settle, the pineapple and amber bring in some sweetness and warmth, and eventually that vanilla and musk start coming through and smooth everything out. What I like about this one is the balance. It’s definitely sweet and fruity, but it never feels like I’m wearing a heavy gourmand. There’s enough freshness running through it to keep it easy to wear. Performance: Very good. I get strong projection early on, especially during the first couple of hours, then it settles into a nice scent bubble. Longevity on my skin is around 7-8 hours, sometimes longer depending on the day. At 2:30 in the morning, this is actually a great way to start the day-bright, sweet, smooth and easygoing without being boring. As Phoenix heats up later today, I’ll probably switch fragrances around noon. But for these cool, quiet early-morning hours, Citizen Jack Absolute works perfectly.

Crisp, cool, and effortlessly clean. A little freshness, a little sophistication, and just right for today. I came to terms with the fact that I will eventually use all the juice in this bottle, but I will enjoy it while it lasts.
