Scent-Fest ‘26 SF
@Jeff Beason suggested I post here. A few family members and I will be attending Sebastian’s (The Fragrance Guy) inaugural Scent-Fest 26 SF in a couple of weeks. A robust number of niche and indie houses will be there. https://web.cvent.com/event/63340577-8f37-4b3c-a1c2-8312f08990be/websitePage:65174c0d-59d4-45f0-bdf0-d321ca295b13?gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=23815267657&gbraid=0AAAAACxUY3BbLsGAJQ-Gx-4CZwC9wzHw-&gclid=CjwKCAjw5s_QBhAdEiwADD_gBpxOB27fHn-Eff4XZVsOhb4V3mUmNkEQRNcPi3-6QizgaoSJE1Gl4hoCs98QAvD_BwE I wonder if there are any in this group that might also be attending. Would be nice to meet up.

Are there any other brothers attending, or interested in attending this?
found an underrated fragrance creator!
I’ve really stopped watching a lot of my favorite creators, as I feel they’ve just been bought out and promote stuff that isn’t that good lol. I used to follow guys like Noel Thomas and FBFragrances, but just as of lately, i don’t find them authentic. The main guys i watch now are Noel Deyzel, because i feel like he’s actually authentic and helpful, and not pushing some shitty dupe like everyone else. I still watch FragranceFlan and Gentscents, but I feel like they’re starting to fall into the dupe house advertising again, too :( Anyways, i’ve started checking out more small, independent creators now, who do videos more as a passion rather than solely wanting a paycheck. Yes, they make money, but their reviews still feel a lot more authentic and honest than the highly paid ones. Probably one of my favorite creators now is this girl called “Fruit Gummi Fragrances”, which is an unusual name yes, but I’ve actually really thoroughly enjoyed her videos. She specializes in less mainstream, more underrated and artistic niche scents, and I’ve found a lot of really good, interesting ones from her recommendations. She’s a younger lady, so maybe not everyone here is the target audience lol, but i do think anyone, especially those looking for cool niche options might get a lot of value from her stuff. She’s got great style and a weirdly nice voice too lol, and i may or may not have a very slight crush on her now (kidding… not really 😭😭) But regardless! I think we should definitely start giving more support to smaller creators. I’ve found their opinions to be the most helpful for me! Link to her tiktok here. She’s also on Insta https://www.tiktok.com/@fruitgummifragrances?_r=1&_t=ZP-96dVy2PIEZi Have a wonderful Sunday, yall!

@P. Andrew Sandlin please report back on how that goes. There are some brothers here on the west coast. I’m not sure how many are still active on here but you might post in General to see who’s interested in going and possibly meeting a few
Non-Boss Bottled Elevated Citrus and Patchouli
Late afternoon wear. All of us know about the ubiquitous Boss Bottled line, but many fewer are aware of the criminally under-marketed niche-adjacent line (The Collection). Every bottle of this collection I own is impressive. I’m not sure why Boss keeps these way out of sight unless perhaps it’s the high retail price tag – $250-$300. You can snag them much less expensively, however. This citrus-forward fragrance is too elegant to be a freshie. The top citrus doesn’t burn off but is soon joined by the moss and patchouli. It makes for an uncharacteristically long-lasting and elegant summer offering.

I have a decant of Burlington 1819 coming that may be in the same wheelhouse. If so, I bet it’s very nice.
SOTD - Penhaligons Bold Blend
Traveling back home from Disney. This is a travel size that was included with a FB purchase of Luna I got for my wife. This got some hate on release in March due to the naming. It’s not a bold fragrance, it’s to make you feel confident. I think it smells great.

Bvlgari: Man Terrae Essence
A niche scent profile with a very distinctive and addictive aroma. Opens with a strong citrusy and woody blend, that could give a boozy vibe. As it dries down smoothens with the vetiver outshines the citrus while balsamic and earthy nuances rounds the blend. I just can’t get enough of it. IMO it’s very intoxicating, masculine, and attention grabbing. It could work for any season or occasion, has great projection and longevity.

Very nice choice. I was at a Bvlgari counter and they sure don’t want to talk about these much. They push their Le Gemme line hard.
