15 yards stalking through an opening in the tree 2 shots 1 body 1 neck, lost my printed targets please excuse this work of art haha.
Favourite stalking footwear
*No Brands* with early season deer approaching fast, for those that spot and stalk what's your favourite footwear? Do you like heavy wool socks and no shoes? Bare foot? Moccasins with natural rubber soles or suede bottom? Perhaps you felt line the bottom of your favourite pair of boots.

@Grant Richardson thanks! Bet youre glad you didnt step on one of those rattlers! From the sounds of it, your white tail hunting areas are very similar to mine, swamps or we have wet mossy bogs. There are some crown chunks near me that are hardwood but they lead to more swamps. I appreciate your input!

Haven't shot in over a month figured I try to knock the rust off with this challenge. Much different than anything I've done before. A couple hits some really close. Let's see if I can improve this week!

After practicing all week this is today's first shot, was focusing on his little eye I drew. Pardon my artistic skills. I think much improved since my first attempt!

Like many others too much, when I was 16 I bought my first recurve 50lbs @ 28" was difficult to shoot consistent so I stopped shooting for a while. Recently started shooting a 45 @ 28" long bow and I can shoot it repeatedly without fatigue. I'm also much stronger now than when I was a teenager, but I believe I have improved in all manners of archery since then too.
