When Purchasing Clones How Many of you have sampled them first the majority of times?
Many of us own clones. I'm conducting a quick survey on spending patterns.

I struggle with finding samples so I usually over research before I blind buy. I try to be very selective when I buy.

Really want to try this one. Need to find some samples.

Warming up today so I thought I’d try Burberry Hero EDT. Definitely brighter than the EDP but you can definitely get the DNA that it is the basis of the line. Beautiful cedar. Performance has been good.

Found my decent of Creed Bois du Portugal. Such a classic fougere profile. Gentleman crisp with average performance.

A Mistitled Banger
This is a mistitled fragrance on two counts: 1. It does not remotely fit into the DNA of the GGS line. 2. It is not a sport fragrance. In our day of pervasive designer fragrance exhaustion, with boring, duplicative flankers, this recent release is a pleasant surprise. Like DH Sport it has gorgeous lemon/citrus off the top, but is brighter than that other superb “sport” fragrance. I happily own both. The dry-down includes woods and greens and florals, and this has surprising longevity for a spring-summer citrus fragrance. But one could honestly wear this year-round. By and large, new designer releases are banal and frankly pathetic. This is an outlier.

I hear mixed reviews, which means I really need to get my nose on it. Think it will be right up my alley.

I am above 50 and I have been looking to improve myself in all styles. I am hoping to find a positive environment.
