10,000 members + New announcement
[Read full post for new announcement] During my New Year break, I took a quiet moment to look back at where it had all begun. This community was only born in December 2025. Just a small seed, newly planted, but somewhere inside me I could already see the community it might become. So I wrote down my vision for 2026. My number one priority was clear: Grow ADHD Harmony to 10,000 members. Yesterday, June 21, on the beautiful summer solstice, that vision became real. 10,000 people. Manifestation is not simply wishing for something and waiting for it to appear. It is holding a vision so clearly that you begin to believe in it before there is any proof. It is choosing to show up for that vision, day after day, and giving it your time, energy, heart, and work. Even when growth feels slow. Even when doubt becomes loud. Even when nobody else can see what you can already see. The vision gave me direction. The work gave the vision roots. And this community helped it grow. Because behind this number are 10,000 real humans. People searching for answers, connection, growth, understanding, and a more harmonious way of living with ADHD. I did it. Or actually, WE did it together. This is your reminder to write down the vision that keeps returning to you. The one that quietly follows you and refuses to leave. Make it clear. Believe it is possible. Give it your energy. Then take the next step, followed by the next one. Sometimes the life you once imagined begins to bloom sooner than you ever dared to believe. 10,000 souls. One beautiful community. And we're only just getting started. This Thursday, June 25, we celebrate together, live. I've got a NEW ANNOUNCEMENT I can't wait to share, free for everyone who shows up. And the doors to my 6 week program swing open. Be there. You don't want to miss this. 💛 Jim

How to actually start tasks when your ADHD brain won't let you
@Vicky Salisbury @Tia ColemanCarr @Donna Bjurlin @Simon Sharpe @Dorothea Habtamu @Mary Christou @Joan Jones @Linda Hernandez @Mads Munk @Heather Jensen you all mentioned task initiation, motivation, procrastination, or feeling overwhelmed by everything on your plate. We covered this during the Q&A so here's the breakdown. The main message: most productivity advice is way too simplistic. A new Notion dashboard or switching to a different app is not going to fix it. That's putting a bandaid on a broken system. The Harmony Productivity System works in layers, and skipping layers is why most approaches fail. Also see the attached image for reference. Layer 1: Regulation first. You can have the best system in the world, but if you sleep badly, you won't be productive. Period. The first domino is always: optimize sleep, add some movement (releases dopamine naturally), improve nutrition. Without a regulated nervous system, nothing else works. This is why so many of you feel like you "can't start." Your brain literally doesn't have the fuel. Layer 2: Purpose & Alignment. Once regulation is handled, figure out what actually lights you up. You don't need your full life purpose right now. Just arrange things so what you do is at least somewhat aligned with who you are. @Heather Jensen this is your situation. If your current job drains you, that's okay, but have a plan for what you're working toward. Knowing the "why" behind the grind makes the grind bearable. Layer 3: Two Big Rocks. Don't set 10 goals. Pick two. Mine are my health and my business. Everything else follows from keeping those two on track. @Mary Christou , this is the answer to "what should I focus on?" Fewer priorities means more follow-through. Pick two, let everything else be secondary.

Thanks @Jim Ebbelaar, very important advice ❤️ My own present status (hopefully encourage others): Regulation first: I am presently struggling with Sleep, gonna take a while it would seem. Trying to fix the chemical imbalance with: - Waking up on time (not always). - Kicking the morning routing based on Red-Yellow-Green. Sometimes Red becomes Yellow by the time I'm done with the Cold Shower. I've started meditation, being okay with "boredom" to break the present neurological cycle. Purpose & Alignment. Once regulation is handled, figure out what actually lights you up. You don't need your full life purpose right now. Just arrange things so what you do is at least somewhat aligned with who you are. Thanks! I was getting ahead the curve as usual while debilitated against the immediate Big Rocks. Diagnosing procrastination: I've been procrastinating on talking with the AI on it. Need to be more involved on this front.

@Pamela Saintonge Not every day can be the best possible one so depending on the present state of mind and how your body feels, the six week program has these Red-Yellow-Green distinctions so we can just do the bare minimum or best possible schedule for ourselves. Red is basically KTLO - Keeping the lights on, do not fall into total despair but drag your body along for a bit and hopefully the mind follows. Sometimes, actions have to precede the thoughts as thoughts can get mudded in our mental state but following a strict routine in line with what our body needs (as resolved with self awareness) can help us get through tough times. Example: Do not miss out of water, electrolytes, supplements, timely meals just because you're feeling too low to perform executive tasks.
