Kling 3.0 in Higgsfield
I think this is like yesterday.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tqZ0JuUevwA

@Paul Despins this has been one of the main things that keeps me from using Kling more. I like to work fast, and I haven’t timed it but Veo can spit out 4 generations so fast that I tend to work there. But agreed this update looks quite good so I’ll have to force myself to stick with Kling a little bit more to test these new waters.

@Paul Despins ahhh yes, super common when the new models come out. Might as well not even try most of the time!
Diner Study 2/5
Wanted to try something simple with no characters. Just a place and objects. Feedback welcome.

@Paul Despins Thanks! Here's one example: Extreme close-up of butter pat actively melting on hot white toast, 100mm macro lens. Yellow butter spreading across toasted bread surface, some areas still solid, others liquid and pooling. Toast texture visible with browned surface. White ceramic plate edge with burgundy stripe barely visible at frame edge. No hands visible. Natural morning light. Static camera. Classic American diner interior. Morning light through windows, soft natural illumination. Light cream formica surfaces, almost white. Burgundy vinyl seating with chrome details. Teal accent wall. White ceramic dishware with burgundy stripe rim. Duralex-style clear ribbed glassware. Chrome service items. Warm color film stock aesthetic with visible grain. Slightly worn but well-maintained. Cinematic framing.

@Shawntee Robinson ya agreed resolve is the gold standard for grading, but it’s a whole art form unto itself in a way. That doesn’t mean you can’t learn though! What program are you editing in currently? That might help others guide you on how to get started if you’re not already in Davinci.

@Shawntee Robinson This tutorial seems as good a place to start as any. https://youtu.be/TMnBLZy3WFg?si=0JSY4bHkdj2pRchX There is some irrelevant stuff in the first ~2 minutes since he's starting with log footage, which doesn't apply to AI Films (yet?), but start around 2:00 where he shows how to do an S-curve, then goes through lot of sliders and other tools in there. I'm not a CapCut user, but it seems like it's got some good features for color work.
Meta Ad Challenge Winner
Alright y’all, we have a winner. Big congrats to @Chris Greene for taking the win on the latest challenge. Super strong entry and it definitely stood out. And for real, shoutout to everyone who jumped in! We had several awesome submissions, and it was really cool to see how different everyone’s approach was. If you entered, I hope this challenge did what it is supposed to do. Can you see what is possible right now? And have you discovered where your skills are strong and where you need reps? Next challenge will be announced on Friday!

@Cameron Pierron lol it's my voice--I did the read. I'd be happy if I had your voice instead! haha. Thanks!

@Cameron Pierron wait am I AI? You would tell me if I were AI right? But no, seriously as I was editing this, and getting sick of the sound of my own voice (as one does), I found myself wishing there was a way for me to magically get the VO in YOUR voice instead because it would make so much more sense. But training an AI Cameron didn’t seem that ethical. 🤣 So I stuck with it.
