Perfume Ad per the Director's Tutorial
I watched the new tutorial and came up with this clip. Used some of the Stated prompt from the class. I added some Bokeh, particles, and a stock animation of leaves creating a reveal. I didn't like the leaf reveals I got in AI. Work in progress. Music Envato AI.

Thanks. The overlay leaves are actually stock from Envato. Couldn't get what I wanted from AI. The main image and animation is AI.
Horror Contest- And it's Free to Enter
Curious Refuge has a horror contest with a deadline of I think October 16th Prizes are 9k and it's free to enter. Only thing is you have to use Epic Sound for Audio but that's free too as a trial. https://curiousrefuge.com/2025-ai-horror-film-contest-rules?submissionGuid=5f7bd95a-579e-4539-bde2-6b225e5c6da4

I entered last year. Even if you don't win it's good practice and to see what other designers do.All of Curious Refuge contests are free to enter which is rare today. Also some of the top people enter.
When Frames Go Wrong
Not every shot works… but some of the “fails” are the most fun to look back on 🤣 👉 Drop a frame or clip that didn’t quite work out. I’ll start.

⚡ New in the Toolbox ⚡
I just dropped a short, straight-to-the-point video on how to use SREF codes in MidJourney. This one came directly from community requests, and it breaks down exactly how to plug SREF codes into your prompts to instantly pull in saved styles. No fluff, just the essentials. Go check it out now inside the Toolbox and start experimenting. 🎬

Thanks. I also want know how to create them from scratch but I may be asking too must in the Technical realm that I may need to look into myself. This was great.
🚨 New Drop Inside the Classroom 🚨
I’m excited to announce a brand-new section: Director’s Notes 🎬 This is where I’ll be sharing my raw experiments, discoveries, and shot studies — the kind of notes a director would jot down while exploring looks, styles, and techniques. Think of it as a living notebook of cinematic ideas you can plug straight into your own workflow. And the first entry is live: ShotLog001: SREF Codes 🔥 Inside, you’ll see how SREF codes change the look of a prompt in MidJourney, with real examples and prompts you can try right away. Go check it out — this is just the beginning. Many more Director’s Notes are coming, and each one will open up new ways to push your shots further.

Can you do a really short clip on how to use these SREF codes? I added yours to a perfume image and got interesting results but none of the guys in your image. It confuses me a bit how to really use them in my images/prompts.

@Cameron Pierron Thanks. I found a site where you can buy SERF codes for different styles for 50 dollars one time payment. I think is good to get it there but would love to know how to make them myself. I'm still searching more info about SERF codes.
