The one-song rule saved my business
@Emily Satel introduced me to this rule that's made my life so much easier... If a task takes less than one song length to complete: DO IT NOW. No "I'll do it later." No adding to the list. No overthinking. Result: โ€ข Inbox stays manageable โ€ข Tasks don't pile up โ€ข Mental load decreases ADHD brains need friction-free systems. What micro-habit changed everything for you?

I set โฐ for mindfulness -for daily thinking and praying about people I care deeply for- I use the month of someoneโ€™s birthday for the hour and the day for the minute. If I have multiple people with same birthday months, I stack them together with abbrev. on my alarm app. It keeps me in sync with others as I can often โ€œget hyper focused in Michael-townโ€

@Jenny Landis I found myself going deep down a Executive coaching session (unplanned but crazy good with GPT -not my norm, it just went into full reflective question and ask+ integration mode) It was so calming, I began to plan my (to)day, organized the living area and did more functional prep for work tasks. Both the sesh and the micro tasks have me pumped to get after the kitchen tonight and then the bedroom ( like climbing Mt. Kilamonjaro :)
no more lone wolf!!!!
Howdy yโ€™all, Iโ€™m relatively new here and wanted to introduce myself and connect with others in this space. I recently joined the FF Accelerator cohort and have been really appreciating the container โ€” but more than anything, itโ€™s made me realize how long I was trying to do everything on my own. As a business owner with ADHD, ideas and motivation were never the issue. It was focus, follow-through, and carrying the whole thing solo. Iโ€™d start strong, get overwhelmed, then scatter or stall. Whatโ€™s shifted lately is slowing down enough to clarify what Iโ€™m actually building, simplifying instead of adding more, and having real structure and humans around me. Over the past several weeks I went from a loose vision to a functioning high-ticket course with a small paid beta group โ€” but the bigger change is internal. My nervous system feels steadier. My weeks feel clearer. My work feels more livable. Iโ€™m mostly sharing this because Iโ€™m curious who else here has wrestled with similar patterns โ€” ADHD, overwhelm, lone-wolfing, or just trying to build something real without burning out. If thatโ€™s you, Iโ€™d love to connect. Feel free to comment or reach out. Always down to meet other founders who are building thoughtfully and learning how not to do it all alone. โ€” Joe

Yes yes and yes ๐Ÿ‘ - I am at the intro of the internal shift and can already see the small tweaks levering into more clarity and calm ANS signals. Appreciate the vulnerability!
