30 March check in
Warrior - check Lover - check Sovereign - check, a little light, but ticked it over. Magician goals: 1: Work on a vision for the shroom saga, and myself 2: Define my perfect day, and start hitting those. 3: Nail down my process for the certification - there's a lot of detail that I need to get on top of. To follow on from the call for anyone interested - here's where I'm at on branding (or more precisely just a trading name - I've not really considered the wider topic until speaking to Jerry last week): My initial idea was "Tititawa", derived from "Titirangi" - the suburb we live in, and "Tawaka" a native mushroom. I was naive about that and only caught wind of potential issues during trademark registration, which was approved, but it does not sit right with me anymore. It's cute at best, with a real risk of causing offence somewhere along the line. Next idea was "Fringe Fungi". "Titirangi" is fairly well known around here as translating to "Fringe of heaven". Fungi hopefully speak for itself. Functional. Jerry brought up a few other considerations (including vision) which made me think, so we'll catch up this week or soon after for a branding brainstorm. The plan for the gourmet mushrooms is to use it as a steppingstone: Fire up a machine that I can use to expand and move into other areas, such as: - Turkey tail mushrooms - specifically for its anti-cancer properties. - I'd like to pick up the microgreens (again), specifically broccoli, for its anti-cancer properties. - I'm making Lactobacillus Reuteri cultured milk on the side - general gut health, and a range of potential healing effects. There are overlaps in the production and legal requirements, and I like growing things. I became a certified health & nutrition coach a couple of years ago, so I know a fair bit about things like that, but quite obviously have not been practicing it which I am somewhat ashamed of šŸ˜‘. I never got off the ground with coaching - very peopley - I was fumbling anything resembling marketing and gave up. It may be a door to be opened again in the future.

You can deny me but not the universe! GREAT job on everything in this post. Proud to know you and for us all to part of your journey. I like the idea of a cool, indigenous kind of overall brand with different products with alliteration names Fringe Fungi, Mother's Milk, Badass Broccoli...

Do an unreachable aspirational one and a practical, tactical one that declares what you will have, be and do in the world.

Epic day out at the wolf sanctuary on Saturday and so cool to see a bunch of our Skool crew in person and work through the Four Wolf Wisdoms. Stoked to have that book done and supporting that event as well as all the other leaders of families and work teams in the world.

Kicking Off Magician Mastery Month!
Magician follows Warrior as the Desert and Garden follow the Road of Trials on the Hero's Journey. Magician is the Archetype that gets us through the Desert and runs the Garden. The Desert is where we integrate new changes in our life into a new identity. To do this we need a clear vision for the future and clear values that guide our decision-making and action-taking to get us there. This is Magician work. Our inner Magician is also the one who runs the Garden. This is where we water and we weed. Watering is a clear plan, process and procedure to do more of what we should and weeding is doing less of what we shouldn't. The more we water the more we need to weed. What we must be vigilant about is not needing to control how or when our garden grows. The gold of our Magician is mastery, the shadow is control. For many of us doing this monthly challenge it is clearing out the junk drawers of our life. These may be literal junk drawers, messy desktops or closets or chaotic, undefined calendar, priorities, projects or plans. Get clear and organized on your outreach plans, strategy or training programs. Journaling and meditation could also be Magician goals for this month. Everyone is welcome to join us on this challenge by posting on the feed for support and accountability and if you want to jump into the tribe on our weekly campfire calls please drop the $10 bucks for premium and we'd love to have you. Welcome to the Saum Brothers @Michael Saum and @Daniel Lopez Saum who are with us on this persistence Magician hunt this month!
