🎥 Communication & Difficult Conversations Series 3/10
Quick Recap: Video 1 of 10 — Internal Dialogue Video 2 of 10 — Pressure, Emotional Control & Presence Video 3 of 10 — Confidence, Energy, Excitement & Conviction Let’s talk about something most people misunderstand. Confidence. Most people think confidence is about what you say. But it actually starts before you even speak. People feel you before they understand you. You might recognize this: • You walk into a room and feel nervous right away • You start talking faster than you want to • Your tone changes without you noticing • You try to sound confident instead of actually feeling steady By the time you start speaking, your energy is already setting the tone. That’s the real problem. It’s not just your words… it’s how you show up. In this video, we break that down. We talk about how confidence is felt before it’s heard, how to manage your energy, and how to stay steady rather than react to the room. Because in every conversation, meeting, or room… Someone is setting the tone. The question is: Is it you? I have also attached a post from @Jack Shiller that I thought was spot on about confidence :) If you apply this, you’ll start to: • feel more steady going into conversations • control your pace and tone better • stop reacting to the room and start leading it • communicate with more clarity and conviction 💬 Reflection when going into your next conversation, meeting, or presentation… Think about a situation this week where you usually feel nervous or unsure. (If any) ﹥ What will you do differently based on what you learned here? 💬 Now let’s bring it to real life: > What is YOUR definition of Confidence? ﹥ Think about your last meeting or conversation where you felt very confident. What was different about your energy, tone, or preparation?

Confidence is built by putting in the reps. 💯 I built my own confidence by putting in the reps, by performing stand up comedy again and again and again over an 18yrs span. Confidence is built through the experience of doing.
Happy birthday Bruno!!!!!!!
Been gone for a little bit guys. Not due to bad things happening or laziness but actually good things. Little bit of traveling, little bit of self awareness, some self work and of course actual work. But wanted to take the time to wish Bruno a very happy birthday. And thank you for bringing us all together to learn from each other. As I say with my office and others around me your network is your net worth. And with the amount of knowledge in so many different areas and perspectives on all these different topic my net worth have multiplied. So again thank you Bruno for creating this group and forum. And I hope I’ll have a day filled with love, joy, happiness and excitement.

Happy belated birthday @Bruno Militz ! 🎈🎈🎈
🎨 Saturday Fun 🔥
I saw this a few minutes ago and had to share with y'all. ↙️ Go on ChatGPT and ask: "Create a caricature of me and my job based on everything you know about me.” It might ask you to upload a few photos (mine did), and honestly… it nailed it 😂 You can also guide it if you don’t use ChatGPT much, just tell it about your job, career, or what you’re building. This kind of image is actually super useful: social media, skool profile or about page, website, print it and keep it at home, or just for fun 😅 I’m sharing mine here because this is a great example of how AI can be used in a creative, positive way, not just for work. 👇 Drop yours below if you try it Let’s hype each other up and have some fun with it. ⏰ Reminder: We’ve got our usual 10:30 AM call today (open for everyone). No agenda, just chatting, connecting, and getting to know each other like always. Open space for any questions, ideas, or topics you want to bring up. I do have to take my cat to the vet at 11:30 AM (yearly check-up 🐾), but I’ll be fully present with you all for that hour 😎 See you soon 🙌

@David Barney Thanks. 😀 I have been a bit of a performer over the years.
WHAT A CALL. 🙏🏽🔥
Huge thank you to everyone who showed up, asked thoughtful questions, and truly engaged. This honestly went way beyond my expectations, and that’s 100% because of the people in this room. The energy, the honesty, the depth of the conversation… it was special. A massive thanks to Eric for generously sharing his experience, wisdom, and perspective. From building businesses to navigating relationships, family, and the long game of life, this was real, grounded, and incredibly valuable. For those who couldn’t make it live, I strongly recommend watching the recording. There’s so much value in there, and I guarantee different things will click for you depending on where you’re at in your journey right now. 😎 Feel free to send him a thank-you message and connect with him. 📱 904.314.2911 📸 Eric's Instagram Thank you all for showing up the way you did. Seriously. This is why this community exists. 🙏🏽 Feel free to share your feedback if you’d like.

What would you be doing if you were born in a different era?
Here's a bit of a fun one for the weekend: (Sunday Funday!! 😁😜) What do you think you'd be doing, not only career-wise, but in other areas of life as well, if you were born in different eras? Here's a few. Feel free to add to the list: 1) the pre-Internet era (not really so long ago) 2) the pre-digital era (a bit further back) 3) the pre-electrical era (now we're going back a ways...) 4) the pre-industrial era (ancient history! 🤣) Would life be as fulfilling as it is now? Why or why not? I'm going to have to think about my answer for a while, but I'm looking forward to reading yours first! Enjoy your weekend! 😊🎉🍻

@Bruno Militz I did ballet and tap dancing as a child. I could do breakdancing as a teenager. Now I just strut my stuff to Drum & Bass!
