Sharing: My “Boring Meals” That Keep Me Consistent 💪
People always ask what I eat before and after my workouts. Truth is… most days it’s nothing fancy. 😂 These are my go-to meals because they’re quick, easy, and I don’t have to think. 🏋️ Pre-Workout Options 🍌 Rice cakes + banana + honey 🥣 Protein cereal + Fairlife protein milk Simple carbs for energy without feeling too full before training. 💪 Post-Workout 🍓 Greek yogurt 🫐 Fresh blueberries 🍓 Fresh strawberries 🤍 A little whipped cream 🍪 ONE BTS Oreo cookie (because balance 😉) The protein helps with recovery, the fruit adds carbs to replenish energy, and yes… I still make room for a cookie. If I finish a harder workout and I’m still hungry, I’ll add: 🥚 Steamed egg whites + chicken sausage for an extra protein boost. The meals that help you reach your goals aren’t always exciting. Sometimes the “boring meals” are the ones that make consistency easy. ✨ Progress doesn’t come from eating perfectly. It comes from having meals you can repeat over and over again.

Thank you for sharing Lena.. I usually boil eggs and leave them on stove for me and the kiddos to grab when we need something in the tummy... just so they're reaching for something healthy hehe
Goals
Highest Priority Goal Get fit and successfully complete two HYROX races before my December birthday. I've already committed by signing up and paying for both events. Detailed Game Plan Track my food consistently and stay accountable to my nutrition. Work out 5 days a week. Complete 4 cardio sessions each week to improve endurance. Join a running club to build consistency, speed, and motivation. Stay disciplined, trust the process, and make daily progress. Timeline 8 weeks: Complete my first HYROX in Washington, D.C. 29 weeks: Complete my second HYROX in Dallas. 31 weeks: Celebrate my birthday stronger, healthier, and proud of what I've accomplished. I am worthy and I will achieve my goals as long as it takes.

Still Pinching Myself
I’m still trying to process this… I honestly never expected to win the fitness giveaway, and my heart is so full. ❤️ I’m beyond grateful and incredibly excited for this opportunity. It means more to me than I can put into words. Sometimes opportunities come along when you least expect them, and this feels like one of those moments. Back with and update 🙃
I’ve been a little on and off here lately because life has been so busy! We’ve had family visiting from Australia (they head home on Sunday), and it feels like we’ve had a constant stream of family coming through. On top of that, my nephew just welcomed a new baby, so there’s been a lot to celebrate! Even with everything going on, I’ve stayed consistent with my “morning” workouts. I’m still hitting the gym 3-4 mornings a week, and I’ve recently started taking a boxing class while my son is at his boxing practice. I had done kickboxing for a while before, but boxing is a completely different skill set. I’m really enjoying learning the fundamentals and challenging myself in a new way. Honestly, I wish I had started boxing before kickboxing because I’m absolutely loving it! Hope everyone’s been crushing their goals too. Can’t wait to catch up on how you’re all doing! 🥊💪

@Lena Nguyen I couldn’t agree more… my kids get little glimpse of it every now and then.. then all of a sudden I’m the crazy one 😅 like boy please full crazy hasn’t even been activated yet.. 🙈🙃. Lena I’m so glad that some of us share the same life experiences lol
