After seeing the awesome song @Jim Craven did for his wife; I got curious to see if I could turn one of the poems I had written for my wife for our anniversary into a song. BUT the issue I had was not knowing how I wanted it to flow..SO I know that @Jake Galambos mentioned finding songs you like and applying them to your songs..I took a little different route and used Suno to give me ideas for it. So here is my collaboration with the robot! LOL! my goal is to be able to sing and play this for our anniversary in 26' which I am fairly confident I will be able to do. A quick little back ground I met my wife at a group function that was being held at a bar and I had invited her and her friends to sit with my group. I was drinking some dark beer in a snifter and she asked what I was drinking in that "funny little glass"..

I know some of us are working on various Christmas Songs . So I thought it would be cool to have one thread we could post too!...to show our progress and maybe get some pointers from the community and or @Jake Galambos I am working on a finger style Silent Night but here are some others I am currently working on. I am trying to break the habit of looking at my fingers so I found these exercises perfect for training muscle memory in knowing where my fingers are at on the fret board...Anywho here are some Christmas songs that are works in progress!
