Microgreen Smoothie, Anyone?
We drink a smoothie most days- Its a great way to get your greens in! Most days the recipe stays the same: 6-8oz Microgreens (Broccoli, Kale, Red Cabbage, or any combination of the three) *Usually I just split a tray in half, most trays yield at least 12-16oz 1 Banana 6-8 Strawberries (depending on size) I use the "Extract" setting on the Ninja which takes 75 seconds and really gets a smooth consistency even with the strawberry seeds. I do this twice... unless one of the kiddos want one too- then I grab another tray & make more :) What's your Go-To Microgreen Smoothie Recipe?

I really want to pitch in here. Microgreen smoothies are my go-to and I make it every day, yes every day I mean it (sometimes 6 days a week 😜 ). I make a big carafe of smoothie and stock it in the fridge for the entire day for family of 4. I give them for my kids lunch (5yr & 10yr old) and yes they love it! This is how I usually make mine and it's a hit in my family! 3 cups water + 2 tbsp chia seeds + 2 very ripe bananas 2 mandarin oranges (just to get a hint of tart) 4oz Peashoots + 4oz sunflower + 2oz Kale (sometimes 2oz Broccoli by reducing others) Frozen Mango/Strawberry/Berry blend/Frozen Daybreak Blend - All from Costco Blend in Vitamix Smoothie setting @Fred Boehm the biggest change I noticed is all through the fall till today none of us were down with cold, cough, fever (flu), noro virus or anything like that with 2 elementary kids who usually pickup all sort of virus from school. It's a huge deal for me that as a mom I don't have to deal with sick kids!!

Harvesting dry microgreens
I struggle with harvesting dry microgreens . They are almost always damp and sometimes are wet , like the radish . How often should I use a fan , I currently do not use fans but want to harvest them so they last .

Disposing Used Soil
What are the different ways of disposing used soil after harvest? What do you all do with the used soil?

@Nancy Morales Thank you! I'll try reaching out to local chicken farms. I had a very few trays all these time and was disposing them in my yard (please don't judge me). Looking to grow in volume now so finding a better way to dispose the used trays
