I rocked my breakout!
With back-to-back art shows and tight travel, flying back to Salt Lake to do a breakout session for the Show Up for Teachers was a hustle. But wow, it was so worth it. There were plenty of unexpected curveballs, right up to about an hour before I had to be on stage in front of 200 teachers. But when it was go time... I nailed it. I contribute the no fear and ability to pieces together a 45 min presentation seamlessly to the MH classes and the Sowcase back in March. During the breakout session, we dove into something powerful, how to reconnect with your passion and reignite resilience by tapping into their childlike creativity. I encouraged them to take the creativity they already have and layer it onto their existing skills—and watch it blow up in the best way. The session was 45 minutes long, with three 4-minute intervals where the music took over. That’s when I sprinted back to the canvas and painted—three different times, full throttle. Music blasting, adrenaline pumping, and me running back to the canvas and painting... was a rush! By the end, I created a 48x48 ocean sunrise repeating "despite trials, eveyday is a beautiful new day when you are living your passion". They were on their feet, laughing, energized, and inspired. It lit me up. I love doing this.

Baby Speaker
Due to a hasty parent split and my dad being a bit of a nomad, I’ve never seen a single photo of me younger than 4. But thanks to AI, I finally got a glimpse of baby me. And of course, I’ve got a microphone in my hand, probably already rallying the toddlers to stand up against the grown-ups trying to cancel imagination. Viva la Play-Doh!

Moving Help this Friday!
Hey friends! Reaching out for help. Our family is leaving this wonderful place we called home in Utah the last 3 years and moving up to Idaho for our next adventure. We have things organized but need man power to put stuff into the truck. This Friday (the 25th) at 9am, we are loading up a truck. We need to be off by 12 to get up to Idaho before it gets to dark (and be ready for people up there to help unpack saturday). Any help would be needed! We are in the Vineyard area. If you can help, I'll message you our address. Thank you!!

Pillar of the Valley
Last night’s Utah Pillar of the Valley Gala was nothing short of inspiring. What an honor to be invited to sit with the incredible Rick’s family—true examples of strength and legacy. As I looked around the room of over a thousand people, I realized just how many of them have quietly and powerfully stood as Pillars for Utah in their own way. One of the highlights for me: shaking hands with one of my lifelong favorite speakers, President Jeffrey R. Holland. I even snagged a quick moment with Governor Gary Herbert—on the escalator, no less! And I’m now on a first-name basis with Curtis Blair, the President and CEO of the Utah Valley Chamber of Commerce (yep, he’s got my contact now). It’s official: I feel at home when I’m surrounded by pillars of strength—people who lead, lift, and inspire.

I know it's hard
Sometimes we encounter resistance. That's the fancy way of saying that as you build this, (your speaking career, your products, your coaching business). We WILL get resistance. And we're supposed to. When we built our company, we put everything on the line. There were times bills DIDN'T get paid. There were times that utilities got SHUT OFF. There were times that we had to say "no" to things we were used to saying "yes" to - like family trips, little getaways, and a bunch of subscriptions for those little personal care luxuries from some of my favorite small businesses. This is especially hard when we are used to being paid more in our 9-5 than we are making in our start up. Believe me when I say that I absolutely understand how hard it is to build your business. And then stack on top of that, looking online and (even though we don't mean to) comparing ourselves to those that look like they've "made it." Some people ARE NOT MEANT for this, and SHOULDN'T RISK IT, at least not yet - they're just not ready. But think about this. If you got a game and you easily won every level, would you keep playing it? Or would you abandon or delete it because there was no challenge? If you're going to earn the right to coach new clients, it will be because you paid the price to go through the hard. If you want to have the ability and influence to change lives with what you're doing, you have to start with your own. If you want to make the millions or billions that you want to make, you must first become the kind of person that posses that ability. And that kind of life experience isn't easy or cheap. That's why most people don't do it. This business is a muscle you must continuously flex, without looking for a "plan B." If you have a plan B, scrap plan A, because your plan B is the one you believe in. You must become the person you look up to. You must be the one who inspires you first thing in the morning. And just in case no one has told you today: I AM proud of you
