@Candice Morrison What if you talked to Jim about payments? Think of this time in small payments, and next time is really small payments but more of them. The only difference is that if you really think the 6 weeks will change your life, so you can do things that bring in more income for other things you currently can't afford either, then why wait for all of these things.

Day 2
Just started the ADHD Awakening Assessment and Sage pointed out something. I've been treated for bipolar for 15 years, but the "intense emotions" piece might actually be ADHD I was never assessed for. Also discovered why lists and Pomodoro never stick for me, but quitting drinking and finishing a master's did. Whatever I do NEEDS to be important, on a personal level.

@Máire Garvey No just the opposite. Lol. You said you finished it because it was important. I got that. You made distinctions. That's why I asked the other questions. How do you make things important so you can finish them? What if your intense emotions are about conflict regarding being forced to make something important in your life that wasn't or now isn't (not your masters but the things that you don't)...etc...

what if I don't have any open loops for the exercise? I can't think of anything :(

Just an idea - Right now you have an open loop about not having an open loop. Is there anywhere else in your life where you think you don't have answers, can't contribute or participate or belong or...?

@Pat Cast That's a great insight. Boredom gives you anxiety. So some part of you needs to be doing something (or something specific) in order to feel <fill in the blank> about yourself? ....... Does being bored for you mean that you would rather be doing something else, but you are not being true to yourself and your real desires and passions? Are you allowed to do what you want to do (instead of what bores you)? Perhaps these questions offer some insight.
