L-sit challenge
Even though I can do L-sits, it doesn't mean I don't need to improve them! So whenever I find a challenge online of course I have to try it😁 I did the same as the video except I finished with a V-sit tuck. https://www.facebook.com/share/r/1bzp1AWPfW/ When I do any challenge, I don't work on it for days. I see the video and go straight at it, I don't expect perfection! I want to see what I can do and what I need to work on😊 Who wants to try this challenge ❓ Or does anyone have a fun challenge they want to share❓

@Brandon Beauchesne-Hebert thanks! 😊 By sticking to L-sit challenges, it helps me stay more focused and not throw myself at all the challenges available out there 😂 Might as well stay with skills I'm already working on and btw, that double it challenge is what got me back into being consistent with working on my L-sit! Some of your weekly challenges I've really paid off for me! 😁

@Zara Doering thanks, love doing L-sits I guess 😅
Getting there?!
I think I’m finally starting to understand the position for tuck front lever a bit better. This is my latest attempt using the band so that I could focus more on retraction and keeping the arms straight. I took the video on a different angle to try and better capture the position. I think it’s looking better?

Good idea using the band!

This post has nothing to do with fitness, sorry! I've shared lots of videos the past 6 1/2 months and in some of them my cat Ginger was just randomly there Well I got her shaved for the first time yesterday and omg, I knew she wasn't a big cat but under all that fur there was a tiny cat hiding 😂 I just wanted to share the before and after! We left the tail puffy, good thing or else she would've had a rats tail! And it's like she's got little booties on🤗 I want to see pictures of your furry babies 😺 🐶 🐦 🐍 🐹 🐠.....!

@Ricardo Jorge gorgeous dog 🥰 we've heard stories about him (or her?) so it's nice to see a picture to match the stories!

@Shuk S I was worried she'd look weird especially that she's white but it suits her!🥹

I went for a walk Saturday and Sunday. Today i was really pleased with myself. I live in Scotland and the sun rarely shines. It was a gorgeous day today. I went out in my back garden to read and as soon as i sat down it bothered me that i hadn't done my work out yet. So i did the beginners workout in the garden then read. I was so pleased i had that reaction. I then went for a walk in the early evening when it was cooler.

Awesome, that's how consistency is built! 🙂
🧩 This Week's Challenge: Connect Two Skills
Instead of practicing just one exercise... Connect two movements together. It could be: • Pull-up → L-sit • Handstand → Forward roll • Crow pose → Headstand • L-sit → Tuck planche • Muscle-up → Dip • Cartwheel → Handstand And yes, animal movements count too. For example: • Bear crawl → Frog jump • Crab reach → Sit-through • Ape step → Deep squat • Beast hold → Kick-through Or make up something completely new. 🤔 "But I don't have those skills yet..." Perfect. Think of it like creating your own burpee or even an Olympic lift. Those movements are really just several simpler movements connected together. For example: • Squat → Push-up • Push-up → Downward dog • Step-up → Knee raise • Deep squat → Stand → Calf raise • Dead hang → Knee raise • Pike push-up → Plank It does not have to be flashy. The goal is simply to move from one movement into another without stopping. 🎯 Why this challenge? Connecting movements teaches you things that isolated exercises do not: • body awareness • coordination • smoother transitions • creativity • movement confidence You will probably discover combinations you never would have tried otherwise. 💡 Need ideas? I will also post a suggestion during the week to help give everyone some ideas. You can copy it, change it, make it easier, make it harder, or use it to create your own combination. 📹 Bonus Challenge Film your favorite combination and post it below. It does not matter if it is easy, hard, smooth, messy, or funny. I would love to see what everyone comes up with, and you might inspire someone else to try your combination. 👇 What are the first two movements you are going to connect this week?

Day 1 ✔️ I had time before bed plus I've been working on this flow for a while so it was an easy pick for today : L-SIT TO PUSH UP TO L-SIT I promise I won't do L-sits all week!😂
