I decided to do a little traveling and will be flying to Kuala Lumpur on Saturday to play in a Minor League DUPR team competition on the 24 May. It’s only a 3 hour flight from where I live in Lombok, Indonesia to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Minor League DUPR competition with 2 men and 2 women. Playing against other teams in 50+ age category: MD, WD, MXD1+ & MXD2. Pickleball really brings the most fabulous connections into our lives. I couldn’t find another 3 x 50+ players who could afford to travel to Malaysia from Lombok, Indonesia so I sent a message to a few people in Kuala Lumpur who I had met on my trip to Malaysia in July 2025 (when I went there to compete in the World Pickleball Championship). Within just 3 hours one of the ladies had replied that she had found 3 other players for me and within a day we had our team registered in the competition. I am really so grateful for pickleball and all my new pickleball friends around the world ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Played 3 hours last night, finally had the 4 top players in our town all able to come at one time. My right quads are a little sore today but I was the only one who didn't take a line drive to the chest (only off the top of my shoe) so it was a good night.

Well tomorrow I was supposed to play in a tournament for a Golden Ticket and it is the first tournament I took a day off of work for, but they did not have enough teams signed up in our division so we would have to play down two levels. We decided to pass and are playing with friends instead. Makes me question in I should take off work in the future. This was not one of the many issues I know about tournaments I was expecting. Have you all had this happen before?

250 to 210 💪. My goal is 200. Anything beyond that is a bonus.
