Wealth Creation: Flipping vs. Holding – Which Play is Right for You?šŸ’°šŸ”„
When it comes to making money with NFTs, there are two main wealth-building strategies—and both have their place depending on your goals. šŸ”„ 1. The Flip – Short-Term Gains A friend of mine bought into a digital asset at a low floor price when interest was just starting to build. A few weeks later, the surge in demand meant that she sold her assets for a four-figure profit- a tidy return on her investment. Instead of cashing out completely, she reinvested her gains, buying into another collection at an early stage. This cycle of flipping and reinvesting helped her build a portfolio that keeps growing, all without needing to pour in fresh money. šŸš€ 2. The Hold – Long-Term Gains On the other hand, some people play the long game. They buy into strong projects early and wait for a major rise in value. The idea is simple: as demand grows over time, so does the value of their assets. When the time is right, they sell at a much higher price, making a return that wouldn’t have been possible with quick flips. So, Which Strategy Wins? šŸ¤” Neither is *better* — it depends on your goals and what you want: āœ… Want steady, compounding profits? Flipping lets you build capital over time. āœ… Want big, long-term wins? Holding allows you to maximize value appreciation But here’s the key: whether you flip or hold, the assets do the work for you. You’re not grinding away at a second job—you’re strategically positioning yourself for financial growth. What’s your style—flipper or long-term holder? Let me know in the comments! šŸ‘‡šŸ’” #newMONEYgame #NFTInvesting #WealthCreation #DigitalAssets

@Vishad Doshi @Cathy K in my opinion the decision on what to buy is totally subjective because it depends on your personal goals, situation and strategy- as Vishad said. For example... my strategy is to spend as little of my own money as possible and grow my portfolio sbowball style (gradually) by trading aggressively on the less rare items of my collection and reinvesting the profits into more expensive collections. So I sweep the floor of Freedon Eagles with my own money, then buy Free Birds and and Silver Eagles fron the profits of selling Freedom Eagles. Then I trade profits fron selling Silver Eagles and Free Birds for Rich Birds to hold them for longer term. Also, I generally pay less attention to rarity. If I see one near the floor price, I will probably buy it and hold it for longer but I don't feel like rare items are worth my time and brain space. But that's what suits ME. Some people may not mind going in with a larger amounts of their own money buying at the higher end of the collections with a view to hold and wait. You need to decide what you want. I want both - long term appreciation of my portfolio and short-term gains to grow the portfolio. I also want to be able to cash out £200-£300 per month to have cashflow fir fun trips. So, the way I choose what to buy (and what to sell) is influenced by the outcomes I want to achieve.
Who remembers this show?!
šŸŽ‰ Who remembers the quiz show Million Pound Drop/Million Dollar Money Drop? šŸŽ‰ Contestants, stacks of cash, and heart-pounding decisions as they risked it all on their instincts… What would you do if it were your money on the line? Would you split the cash across options to play it safe—or go all in on what you *know* is right? Who else used to scream at the TV, "No, not that one!ā€ as the trapdoors opened? šŸ˜… šŸ‘€ Let’s rewind for a moment... If you could step into that studio today, how would you play? Stay tuned… something exciting (and inspired by the Million Pound Drop) is dropping soon. šŸ’šŸ’°

@Vishad Doshi yes, at the end. It was couples competing against each other through various tests and games and at the end there was a quiz component where there were codes in cylinders and if they could answer all the questions correctly, they would be left with the correct code for the safe and win 100,000DM. But most couples could only answer a few of the questions and then they would be left with several codes to pick from. It was epic. Also, the title of the show is 'Die 100,000 Mark Show' the presenter was called Ulla Kock Am Brink (I'm not making this up). 🤣

Your Answers Are In Your Shadow replay
Yesterday, I had the pleasure of hosting Your Answers Are In Your Shadow, my introductory session on shadow work, where I covered: ā“ What is a shadow and shadow work? ā“ Why would you shadow work? ā“ How do you do shadow work? ā“ Practical examples and exercises to start shadow work for yourself Shadow work is something that make you think 'that's going to uncover all kinds of dark stuff I'd rather keep hidden away'. And that's true and ok. At the same time, it lets you integrate an oft-neglected part of your self which contains the origins of the automatic patterns and behaviours that run your life today. Like is mentioned often in the session, we're not looking to destroy or get rid of the shadow, we want to meet, accept and understand better what it's trying to do for us or show us, and hence take a step closer to find our answers. The session is based on extracts from my book Your Answers Are In Your Shadow, which is available in paperback on Amazon for the rockbottom price of Ā£12 or Ā£10 in ebook format: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Your-Answers-Are-Shadow/dp/B0B5KQ44N7 The book came about on the back of watching The Batman in 2022 when it first came out. The dialogue 'they think I'm hiding in the shadows...but I am the shadows' struck a real chord with me, which led me to writing a paragraph, one page, 2 pages and ultimately a whole book. It's my first forray into self publishing, something I'm proud of and delighted to share with you. This recording of the session is now here for you to enjoy. I've also attached an accompanying set of slides to summarise the key points from the session. Let me know what you make of the session in the comments below, I'd love to know what you think and if you do indeed end up utilising shadow work, feel free to share how you get on! Feel supersonic

@Vishad Doshi absolutely. Although when I published my first book on Amazon (a cookbook) in 2022, I opted not to have a hardcopy book as the profit margin was way too low with the coloured images etc.

@Vishad Doshi the print costs for colour pages are ridiculous. It spirals quickly. Printing something in black and white (especially books that have limited picture pages) is a lot more affordable. My cookbook has a picture for every recipe and over 30 recipes... I would have had to charge nearly £25 per book (soft back) to make it worth my while with print on demand. In the end, it sold pretty well in PDF format off my website and on Kindle. I even got a really lovely review and a few 5-star ratings on Amazon. Somebody also said that my pigs in blankets are the best they have ever eaten. Sadly this was a Facebook DM rather than an Amazon review. 🤣
