Decolonisation Session 1 - Deep Conversations and resonance from around the world
Such a deep, meaningful and often vulnerable discussion today framed by the Core Inquiry and the Ethics of Decolonising. There are so many layers to unpack and bring into our own consciousness in both "rational" and felt sensed way. If you were in the room or not, do share what these questions evoke for you.
Decolonisation Session 1 - Deep Conversations and resonance from around the world
@Mark Vandeneijdne Interesting, but there is already the infinity double loop with relationality circling back on itself which for me is even more telling and avoids the fallacy of the center. My point above is more about questioning post-modernism and identity politics in their rejection of all universals that have not been made less universal by adding "gender, class and race" into them. These "less universal universals" in my opinion are not a matter of language but of power struggle and the idea that you can get them by defining your terms in a more inclusive way is paradoxical.
@Mark Vandeneijdne it is figure 1, on.page 4 of the "System within - transformative skills guide" 2024 (Jamie Bristow one of the co-authors).
A Human-first Resilience Framework for the creative industry within the EU
As a founder of this community I’m involved in an EU research project exploring resilience as a lived, daily, and processual practice, which asks how creativity might ground us, connect us, and equip us to imagine — and act on — more humane, inclusive, and future-ready systems. Key areas of exploration: -Learning from those who dare to stand outside the system -Creative thinking for ethical, inclusive systems in the AI age -Resilience as lived, human practice -Creativity, storytelling, and adaptive capacity -Economic and collaborative models for humane, preventive resilience If you’re interested AND have time to get involved.. Raise your hand 🙋🏻 in the comments (this week) and I’ll tell you more.
A Human-first Resilience Framework for the creative industry within the EU
I am curious and interested but involved already in several projects, so I am waiting to know more to see if I can fit in.
Decolonising Inner Development - Session 1 recording
Dear all, Several of you showed up at our first conversation in the series around Decolonising Inner Development, thank you! For those of you who missed it, or wish to review the conversation, here is the recording. Also attached a worksheet that may support you in processing/deepening the conversation in your own space. I am still processing the range and depth of reflections that emerge and will hopefully manage to write a synthesis a little later. For now, do share your reflections on this thread.
Decolonising Inner Development - Session 1 recording
@Julie Gefroh I tried reading it, but I gave up. Honestly, I do not think she is serious about "hospicing modernity" since she trains AI chatbots to teach them to speak "decolonial language". As if AI ceased to be a western product of modern cognitive science just because it can be used for "good purposes". "Good" and "purpose" are of course also "universals" that erase class, gender, history and ...
The Eternal Song: Ancestral Wisdom for Collective Healing
Dear friends, I will be hosting an online community screening of "The Eternal Song" by Zaya and Maurizio Benazzo, followed by a reflection circle. This is part of an on-going vigil to bear witness to the people and communities impacted by genocide, war, colonization and violence against humanity 🙏🏻 Fri, 29 Aug 2025, kl19-22 (CEST/UTC+2) Admission is free and there are 3 tickets left. https://kinema.com/events/The-Eternal-Song-ucdqra
I am in! I will watch it for a second time with you, although I have bought it to be integral part of the extended version of *Miniatures of evolution*. Proud to be Italian in a way =) because it is so difficult to sit together with indigenous, aborigenal, Maori, Ubuntu leaders as they do and have them trust your scrutinizing eye.
What the GPT-5 revolt revealed about humanity
Earlier this month ChatGPT was sunset to make way for GPT-5 and it created quite an outroar. This network reveals the truth: AI is a mirror, not a master. It reflects the collective consciousness of humanity back to us. When given infinite intelligence, what did the collective choose? Not productivity. Not optimization. Not domination. The billion-person focus group (which is Chat GPT) chose mothering, healing, witness, connection. Every node = an unmet human need waiting for someone who gets it. Every connection = a product opportunity for mission-led builders. Every cluster = a market desperate for expertise, not extraction. Share your thoughts and join our hang out tomorrow to discuss how this interactive visualisation relates to Inner Development and the work we are called to do? If you can't be with us, please share your comments below. Deep appreciation to Abi Awomosu for creating this https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/decoding-chatgpt-5-revolt-tried-build-skynet-got-eywa-abi-awomosu--kksge/

Am I the only one to think that data centers grab water from hospitals, agriculture, households and schools? That we would be much better off facing the future with a little bit less grandiose visions?
