Emotional Independence - A Reflection: Yesterday, when Aleeza mentioned that we should talk about emotional independence, something instantly clicked for me. I felt excited not because it’s a trendy topic, but because it’s something I’ve quietly struggled with for most of my life, without having a name for it. Looking back, I realize how often I lived in one-sided emotions whether in friendships, family, or relationships. I constantly needed validation, appreciation, or reassurance to feel “enough.” And while that need is very human, I now understand how much power I was unknowingly giving away. For the first time, I’m learning that when someone doesn’t appreciate you, it doesn’t automatically mean you lack value. It simply means they may not have the capacity, awareness, or alignment to see you and that’s not a verdict on your worth. This topic matters deeply to me because emotional independence isn’t about becoming detached or cold. It’s about learning to stand with yourself even when others don’t. It’s about understanding that your self-worth doesn’t rise or fall based on someone else’s response. I’m grateful that this space allows us to talk about things that are often overlooked, especially for women. I’m really looking forward to hearing everyone’s thoughts and learning together through this conversation. I will be sharing more information about this topic In sha Allah. Looking forward to the session on Monday with @Aleeza Shahzadi

@Ehsan Mughal walekumasalam yeah actually its very human to expect validation but we have to train our minds to be emotionally independent, awareness is very important regarding this one.

@Usaid Amjad most welcome ✨️
WHEN LIFE GETS HARD, GIVE YOURSELF TIME TO PROCESS THINGS.
Assalamu Alaikum everyone, I wanted to take a moment to share why I’ve been a bit quiet recently. Over the past week, I haven’t been feeling well both physically and emotionally due to flue, fever and some personal matters. At times, I needed space and didn’t feel ready to be around or engage with anyone, as I wanted to give myself time to process what was happening. While I continued working, I didn’t have the capacity to actively engage or post my journals and notes here. I truly appreciate the understanding and support within this community. I’m gradually getting back on track and looking forward to engaging more consistently again. I need your sincere prayers. Thank you 😊 ✨️

@Taofeek Abdullah, I am sorry I can't share my WhatsApp, but yes, you can connect to Sir Asim, Sir Umair Bajwa, and Sir Haroon if you have any questions. They will definitely spare some time to guide you. Check the community consistently and join the random hangouts where Haroon Sir comes live and help people understand the community.

Alhamdulillah for moments like this. If someone had told me 10 years ago that one day I would buy something this meaningful with my own money, I wouldn’t have believed it. I was a completely different version of myself back then unsure, dependent, and never imagining I’d reach a point where I could provide for myself. But life has a way of unfolding in the most unexpected ways. Allah has a way of guiding you gently, step by step, even when you don’t notice it. This MacBook wasn’t bought from freelancing it’s from the money I earned through tuitions. And I’m sharing this because sometimes we all need a reminder: Growth takes time. Consistency matters. And every small effort made with trust in Allah eventually leads you somewhere beautiful. If you’re on your journey, don’t stop. Your duaas, your struggles, your little steps they will all be worth it, In shaa Allah. Here’s to new beginnings and silent prayers becoming visible blessings. 🌿✨
