Michael won the Skool Games! 🥳
Wanted to give a MASSIVE congratulations to @Michael Rizk, who crushed the Skool Games in Q1! His community, Expanding Capacity, came in third place in the Health category, reaching a staggering $14,495 MRR! He now gets to fly out to Skool HQ in LA and get direct access to Alex Hormosi. Let's all show Michael some love in the comments! Spam him with your favorite GIFs 😉

We got a divorce 🥴
Hey Founder fam—you may have noticed some big changes lately. Over the past few weeks, Rex and I have had a lot of honest conversations about the future of what we’ve been building together. And after a lot of thought and care… We’ve decided to get a divorce 🤝😂 In all seriousness, this wasn’t an easy decision. @Rex Loyer and I are ending our business partnership. We have a lot of love and respect for one another, and Focus Founders wouldn’t exist without both of us. I especially want to acknowledge Rex for the role he’s played—helping me to stay focused when shiny objects hit (yay ADHD 😄), running the daily ETF co-working sessions, and bringing the Accelerator program to life. I appreciate the hell out of you, dude. Thanks for building this thing with me. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻𝘀: Rex will continue building his coaching business under the Focus Founders brand name. And I’ll be continuing with this community, but evolving it into something new: 𝕋𝕙𝕖 𝔽𝕠𝕦𝕟𝕕𝕖𝕣𝕤 𝔾𝕦𝕚𝕝𝕕 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿'𝘀 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱? The Founder's Guild is the natural evolution of what we started with Focus Founders… But with a deeper focus on what this has always really been about: 👉 helping ADHD and neurodivergent entrepreneurs build businesses and lives that actually work for their brains 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗲? I originally started this community before Rex and I met, as the ADHD Entrepreneur’s Playground. My vision has always been to help ADHD founders lead lives they love. That is not changing. It’s still about: - The people - The energy - The mission of helping ADHD founders thrive If you’re here, you’re in the right place. We will also continue to offer the 5 AM CST virtual co-working sessions as well as the 12 PM CST in-person Thursday sessions in Austin. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴? - The name → The Founder's Guild - The direction → even deeper into ADHD, creativity, and building a business and life you love - The 10 AM CST co-working sessions will be paused until further notice.

@Jorick Sikkes agreed! We've definitely been talking future collaboration with both of our separate businesses.
My Coke Dealer Was Ruining My Life.
(I mean the guy at the store who kept my Coca-Cola cold and ready every night.) Although now that I think about it... the dynamic was pretty much the same. I showed up every night. He had exactly what I needed. I paid. I left feeling good. And the next morning, I was a mess. Classic dealer behaviour. Anyway. That's not the story. A few weeks ago, I made a decision that felt small but turned out to be massive. I quit Coca-Cola. For a month. For a long time, I thought something was seriously wrong with me every morning. Not "I'm a little tired" wrong. The kind of wrong where you sit down to work and an hour disappears, and you have nothing to show for it. I couldn't focus. I was disoriented. My thinking was slow. My output was suffering. And I couldn't figure out why. So I tried everything. Meditation. Exercise. Coffee. Cold showers. Supplements. All of it. Nothing moved. Someone then suggested I quit sodas. I almost laughed. You're telling me the answer to my problems is... the can of Coke I've been drinking for as long as I can remember? So eventually, out of pure frustration, I cut the Coke. Not because I believed it would work. Because I had run out of other things to try. A few days in, I noticed I was getting things done. Fast. Before I'd even fully registered that I was awake. Tasks I used to grind through all morning were done before 10am. Now, I'm not here to cancel Coca-Cola or anything. My body just decided to wage a private war against it without telling me. But here's what I am saying: We all have a Coke. Something we love. Something that's become such a fixture we'd never think to question it. Something that feels like comfort, while it quietly takes the edge off everything we're trying to build. We don't find it by adding more systems or habits. We find it by listening to our bodies. Right now, I'm quitting sodas for good, and I'm also cutting out all processed food. My new rule: if it wouldn't exist on a shelf 100 years ago, it's not going into my body.

Hey there you beautiful amazing goblins. I wanted to express that, first, I have no words for how much I have learned so far in my time here. From the founders of this soace and from you, the members. I love you all and I have deeply cherished having the honor of modding this space for @Bill Widmer and @Rex Loyer and helping you all to build something of the connections which I have seen blossom. You all have helped me blossom in ways I cannot even begin to express and describe, as well... And because of that blossoming, I have decided to step down from moderating and just be a community dweller while I focus on my own business and personal growth alongside you.....present much more in the way I was in my early days here 🌿 The future is bright, for all of you. And these men both have some amazing things in store. God, I cannot wait to see all the ways this space and everyone who is a part of it, continue to grow and develop throughout this next year and beyond. As for me, I will be digging deeper into my own studies so that I can be a better advocate, care providerr, and teacher within my own lane. You'll be seeing more reflections from me in the future. And im still cheering each and every one of you on every day, even if I'll sometimes be more quiet while doing so 💖

Love ya. Look forward to continuing to connect and support each other-- just in a new way. ADVENTURE TIME!
What do you check these days?
We're overwhelmed with notifications. Social media, email, texts, Skool, apps... What are the things you regularly check? What do you ignore? Do you have any "sacred" inboxes? Asking because I've been considering starting a newsletter, and I'm curious how people are about their inboxes in this community. Also just super curious. :)
