Scripture:
“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”
— Matthew 6:34
God gives grace in daily portions.
We often feel overwhelmed not because today is too heavy, but because we’re carrying tomorrow’s weight with today’s strength. Anxiety is what happens when we try to live in a day God hasn’t given us grace for yet.
Jesus reminds us: stay here.
Today has enough grace.
Today has enough strength.
Today has enough mercy.
God never asked you to solve your whole life in one moment. He asks for obedience today. Faithfulness now. Trust right here.
When the Israelites gathered manna, they were told not to store it up for the next day. Why? Because God wanted them to learn dependence—not control. The same is true for us. Worry is often our attempt to control what only God can carry.
You don’t need tomorrow’s answers to be faithful today.
