Hebrews 12:1-2
“Let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith.”
Devotional
One of the quickest ways to lose your joy is by comparing your journey to someone else’s.
Comparison says:
“Why am I not where they are?”
Faith says:
“God has a unique path for me.”
God never asked you to run someone else’s race.
He asked you to be faithful in yours.
Some people will move faster than you.
Some people may have different gifts than you.
Some seasons will look easier for others.
That’s okay.
Your assignment is not to compete—it’s to remain faithful.
Keep your eyes on Jesus, not on everyone else’s progress.
The goal isn’t to finish first.
The goal is to finish faithful.
Reflection
Has comparison been stealing your peace or distracting you from what God is doing in your own life?
