Day 4 Devotion!
DAY 4 — DEPEND ON GOD Scripture: “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.” — Proverbs 3:5 KJV Devotional Walking with God means learning to depend on God. Many times we pray, but we’ve already decided what we’re going to do. We ask God for direction while still leaning on our own wisdom, strength, resources, and understanding. But relationship with God requires dependence. Jesus said, “without me ye can do nothing.” — John 15:5 Dependence says: “God, I don’t want to do this without You.” Before making the decision—ask Him. Before responding—seek Him. Before trying to figure everything out yourself—bring it to Him. The goal isn’t simply to ask God to bless what you’re doing. It’s learning to discover what He’s doing and follow Him. Reflection Where in my life am I relying more on myself than God? What would it look like to truly trust Him with that area?

I have to remind myself when I get in a situation where things aren’t going as I planned instead of panicking. I need to pray and talk to the Lord.

Doing good with my morning worship and devotionals! Struggling a little bit in the workout department and staying on track with eating. I love to go for a walks and do outdoor adventures and it’s super smoky right now in Washington state we have fires all around us. So I haven’t been outside as much which I think is just kind of bumming me out a little bit, but I know I can do a workout inside and I need to just stay focused.
Not sure who needs to hear this today! 🙏❤️
Corinthians 4:17 (NKJV) “For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.” 💜 Meaning: The struggles we face right now are temporary compared with the eternal glory God has prepared for us. Even in hard seasons, God can use what we’re going through for a greater purpose.
Not sure who needs to hear this today! 🙏❤️
