DAY 1 — LIFE WITH GOD Scripture: “God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.” — 1 Corinthians 1:9 KJV Devotional The goal of these next 40 days isn’t simply to pray more, read more, or become more disciplined. The goal is to learn how to do life with God. There is a difference between knowing about God and actually knowing God. God didn’t invite us into empty religious routines. He invited us into fellowship with Him—to walk with Him, talk with Him, depend on Him, trust Him, and involve Him in our everyday lives. Genesis 5:24 simply says: “Enoch walked with God.” That’s what we’re pursuing. Not just visiting God during prayer time, but learning to walk with Him throughout the entire day. Reflection Ask yourself: Do I know God personally, or do I mostly know about Him? What would my life look like if I truly learned to do everything with God? Today’s Practice Take 10 minutes with no distractions. Read John 15:1–11 slowly, then simply pray: “Father, teach me how to walk with You. I don’t just want to know about You. I want to know You.”
