Day 4 Devotion!
DAY 4 — DEPEND ON GOD
Scripture:
“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.”
— Proverbs 3:5 KJV
Devotional
Walking with God means learning to depend on God.
Many times we pray, but we’ve already decided what we’re going to do. We ask God for direction while still leaning on our own wisdom, strength, resources, and understanding.
But relationship with God requires dependence.
Jesus said, “without me ye can do nothing.” — John 15:5
Dependence says:
“God, I don’t want to do this without You.”
Before making the decision—ask Him.
Before responding—seek Him.
Before trying to figure everything out yourself—bring it to Him.
The goal isn’t simply to ask God to bless what you’re doing.
It’s learning to discover what He’s doing and follow Him.
Reflection
Where in my life am I relying more on myself than God?
What would it look like to truly trust Him with that area?
