Posting daily is a tactic, not a law.
Most entrepreneurs hit the same wall:
You tell yourself this time you’re going to post daily.
(Allllll the gurus say you should, and they're successful, so it must be true)
You block off time.
You brainstorm.
You still don’t do it.
You shame-spiral and wonder why you're broken.
Here’s the real problem: You’re trying to force yourself into someone else’s rhythm instead of building your own.
Let's fix it with these 4 questions I use with all my clients that have the same struggle...
1/ What’s your natural content vehicle? Do you rant best into a voice note? Do you need to write it out? Do you shine on video? Stop fighting it—lean into it.
2/ Where do you already scroll when you’re bored or want to learn something? TikTok? LinkedIn? Substack? Post where you like being, not where you “should be.”
3/ What length feels easy? Long blogs where you have room to get thoughts out? Punchy short posts that hit hard and fast? Five-minute rants? Pick the format that doesn’t make you groan every time.
4/ What’s your education style? Do you provoke? Motivate? Teach step-by-step? Chat like a friend? That’s the fuel that makes content fun.
Once you’ve answered those, piece it together:
  • If you love writing → skip the daily TikTok pressure and focus on blogs, emails, or community posts.
  • If you thrive in quick videos → short-form platforms make sense.
  • If you love deep teaching → long content works better than forced one-liners.
Consistency isn’t “every freakin' day.”
It’s what you’ll actually keep doing without burning out.
There's a LOT to learn about creating content if you haven't been doing it... way more than you realize now... and you have systems to build, mindset gremlins to beat into submission, and platforms to learn the rules of.
Start where you can win: once a week, once a month — whatever is sustainable for now. THEN ramp up later when you have more of the base knowledge and systems built and can put more effort into more content.
And here’s the kicker:
Once you’ve got 30+ pieces of content, you’ve built a library. At that point, repurposing becomes easy. Chop it up. Quote yourself. Make videos to go with blogs or blogs to go with videos. Hire help to remix it.
Just don’t try to skip ahead — get the raw material out and systems built first.
Stop trying to play by rules that weren’t written for you.
Design your own rhythm. That’s the only one you’ll actually stick with.
