Skipped a Day: On it Today
Something I used to struggle with a lot and I see other people struggling with as well is meeting new people. For me, when I'm in a good mood or when I'm in an environment that is conducive to meeting people, it's always easier. But I've also trained myself to put myself out there, to say hello to people in the elevator or in public, or just greeting people, trying to put a smile on their face, giving them a compliment. It makes me happy. Whether it makes them happy or not doesn't matter. Sometimes I shock people, sometimes I surprise people, but usually they're very happy that I've interacted in some way. How do you show up in the world? How would you like to show up in the world?

Too Busy? Distracted
Yesterday was one of those days where I felt a little overwhelmed with all of the stuff that I needed to do, and I hadn't slept well. But despite all that, I was able to at least get a video done. Today, I have a little bit more time still busy but not as distracted, so I'm grateful. Usually, when I'm distracted, it takes me quite a bit of willpower and effort to stay focused. But usually, it's like good food, good rest, and exercise that gets me back on track. Whats keeping you busy? What are your strategies to regain focus?
[WELCOME] START HERE
Well, if you're new to the group, welcome! This is your starting point. This is what you're here for. I welcome you. The way this group works is for 100 days, I'd like you to commit to a single daily action. It could be an action related to one specific task, like: - Posting a video every day - Writing every day - Reaching out to clients every day - Creating something every day - Working on your art - Applying for a new job every day - Building your business - Building an app Or you may want to build a project where you have multiple things that you need to do to complete that project. Every single day, you work towards the completion of that project. For example, if you're launching a new product, make a list of all the things that you need to do. If it's 100 items, just try to get one item checked off each and every day. If one item takes longer than a day, then just post about it on those two, three, or four days, for however long it takes you to complete that task. The goal is not necessarily to complete the project but the daily action of at least doing something towards your major goal. To build consistency, resilience and the habit of actually doing the thing that's going to lead you to the end result every day. I feel like 100 days is more than enough to build a habit. Scientifically, it's something like 24 or 28 days. But I think 3 months or 100 days is a good enough time period. For me to do things in stints of 90 days or 100 days, and so I encourage you to pick something and post about it in the group. Once you've completed the daily action, come here to the group, post that you've completed it. If you made a video, link to the video. Hopefully this helps somebody and inspires people in the group to participate to encourage and support each other. Good luck. I'm looking forward to reading your posts and supporting you.
Overdelivering vs Devalued
Today's video actually taught me something about the difference between being somebody who overdelivers and crossing the line into being devalued for your work. Overdelivering is giving more than you've been paid for or giving more than you've asked for. But there are ways to do it where you do something in a faster time than people expect, or you throw in bonuses or extras, but people know about it. They're expecting it. Vs. spending copious amounts of time on something and not actually charging for it. Do you know if you actually are being valued? Well, people are happy to pay for the work that you have done, and it's easy for you to communicate that they owe you extra money for extra services. When you're completed with a project and you've been paid, you feel resentful, hurt, or undervalued. You feel like you should have asked for more money because actually the client got it for a steal. A day later, you find out that somebody else charged double the amount of money for the same work that you did. Don't fall into that trap. Give yourself an audit every now and then to ask: - What are you giving without actually charging for? - Are you actually overdelivering? - Are you devaluing your time and your services?

Upper Limit
If you're familiar with the Upper Limit Problem, it's this concept that Gay Hendrix came up with in the book "The Big Leap". He talks about how when you reach a certain level of success, you might self-sabotage or cause issues in your life because you're not familiar with this territory. You're not familiar with this level that you're at. And I feel like I'm experiencing that right now. The way that I'm dealing with it is through coaching with @Caleb Nelson and also therapy. I recognize that it's in talking through the decisions I need to make and the challenges/feelings that I am facing will help me: 1. Reduce the fear 2. Keep momentum
