What's everyone's opinion on using YouTube's in-house thumbnail split tester? I've heard mixed opinions since its release, and thought Wono's thread about it was an interesting read. In the past, I've run into instances of it picking a "winner", only for views to flatline until I manually override it with what my gut says and the video's growth suddenly returns to a healthy trajectory.
Do you guys use it? Use a 3rd party split testing tool? Or manually switch out packaging and read the data yourself? Personally, I'm in the latter camp until I know that the kinks have been worked out.
BTW I made my intro post before the fruit part was added so I'll have to retroactively answer with mandarins 😁
