Most people treat a missed goal like evidence that something is wrong with them.
It isn't.
A goal is a direction. You aimed at something, you moved toward it, and you ended up somewhere different than you planned. That's what we call in the biz, progress
But don't stop just because you missed a goal please!
The creator who wanted 1k subs by December and hit 400 is closer than they were. The person who wanted to post three times a week and managed once is still in the game. The one who quit because they didn't hit the number is the only one who actually lost.
Goals are useful because they create direction and urgency.
Set the goal. Miss it if you have to. Adjust and keep going.
