Found during LIVE Q+A
Hey guys, was on the Q+A today with and found this AWESOME thumbnail that's only two weeks old.
I know it's a little dark, but it really caught my attention so I thought I'd share.
Just some takeaways:
Plain background that isn't white, really draws the eye in (but probably red)
Black is such a huge contrast and there is an EVEN outscaled contrast when only two colors are used.
The theme is a little dark with that guy looking like he's hanging himself, I might not go that dark with it depending on your audience, but it could be worth being a little edgier.
The title itself isn't my favorite, but I do like the format:
