Copywriting is dead. Distribution is king.
When Anik Singal hinted this, it stopped me in my tracks. (But it makes sense) I’ve followed his work for years — read Circle of Profit, studied eScape. But nothing compared to hearing him live at the Expert Summit. As someone who works with financial professionals every day, attends the conferences, and builds systems for scale — I can honestly say this was the most practical, honest, and momentum-building event I’ve been to in a long time. 🔥 Here are 5 tough truths that hit home for those of you in Financial Services: #1 – “We are in a trust recession.” It’s not just about having the best investment strategy or insurance product. If people don’t trust you, they won’t listen — and trust is built by showing up, not just being correct. #2 – “People trust what they SEE more. Not what they click. Not what they read. What they SEE.” Your weekly market updates don’t matter if no one sees them. Visibility is the new credibility. And YouTube is the number 1 video platform in the world. #3 – “Monetization is tied to frequency — not perfection.” You don’t need better webinars or social media posts. You need more face time (and screen time) with your prospects. Show up more. That’s the metric. #4 – “Copywriting? Matters less every day.” Ouch — but he’s right. Today, being the trusted voice in your niche outperforms the perfectly written email or blog. #5 – “You don’t have a revenue problem — you have a distribution problem.” If your amazing offer isn’t reaching enough people, it’s likely not the offer that’s broken. 💡 My biggest unlock? Anik’s A → L → B → R framework. Acquisition → Liquidation → Backend → Recurring. Each step has a specific job — and for Advisors, getting this right could be the difference between a $10K month and a $100K system. It’s not about adding more products or platforms — it’s about structuring your services and content in the right sequence to take a stranger and turn them into a believer. Here’s what stuck with me: Authority > Marketing

Where Are Your Best Clients REALLY Coming From?
I've been diving deep into the lead generation world lately. Where do we find quality prospects without breaking the bank? Here's what I'm seeing across the industry: Webinars, Content Marketing, Ads and Referrals seem to be the most used. But here's the thing - the numbers only tell half the story! I'm curious about YOUR real-world experience. Use the poll to say which channels you are actively using. Drop a comment below with: - Your top-performing lead channel right now - Ballpark cost per lead you're seeing - ONE thing about that channel that surprised you (good or bad!) I'm collecting all this intel for a free resource I'll be sharing - help me make it insanely valuable by adding your perspective! P.S. Don't be shy about the numbers - this is a judgment-free zone. We've ALL overpaid for leads at some point!

Introducing myself
Hi there! My name is David. I run a creative company called The Bear & Unicorn with my wife. We've been playing the entrepreneur game for as long as we've been married. We're pretty eclectic creatives, exploring all sorts of things. Most of our careers were as designers and strategists, helping our clients position and communicate their value into the marketplace. We're heading back to our roots and focusing on coaching our clients to be more creative. Right now that looks like painting murals and doing activations. We've committed to producing a youtube channel to help us focus our content creation efforts and to elevate our film making and storytelling abilities.
