Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder
Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder
This foundational class explains what Complex Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder is in clear, human language. We’ll cover how CPTSD forms, how it differs from PTSD, and why its symptoms often show up as emotional overwhelm, shutdown, hypervigilance, people-pleasing, shame, or chronic exhaustion. This course focuses on understanding, not diagnosing. If you’ve ever felt like “something is wrong” despite trying to heal, this class will help reframe your experience through a trauma-informed lens.

Understanding Your Nervous System (CPTSD Basics)
Understanding Your Nervous System (CPTSD Basics)
This course introduces the nervous system in a simple, trauma-informed way. Instead of trying to “fix” symptoms, we learn how the body responds to stress, safety, and threat — and why CPTSD patterns are automatic, not chosen. This is education for relief, not performance. You don’t need to memorize anything or apply tools perfectly. Learning alone can create more space inside your system.

What CPTSD Feels Like (A Day in the Body)
What CPTSD Feels Like (A Day in the Body)
This course goes over what you are feeling in your body. Not every nervous system is the same but symptoms of CPTSD are noticeable, real experiences. Sometimes we don’t know what we are feeling until we learn how to understand, biologically, what our bodies and brains are doing in times of what it thinks of as “protection.”

What is your baseline?
What is your baseline?
A personal baseline is essentially your “normal” state. It is how your body, mind, and emotions typically feel when you are not stressed, triggered, sick, or otherwise pushed out of balance. It’s like your reference point for understanding yourself. Once you know your baseline, you can recognize when something is off, whether that’s stress, anxiety, exhaustion, or emotional dysregulation.

Music and Why It Is So Important
Music and Why It Is So Important
Across music therapy and clinical studies: Music listening interventions have been shown in systematic reviews to improve sleep quality (insomnia) and subjective restfulness in people with mental health symptoms. Meta-analyses find music-based interventions reduce stress and anxiety markers (both psychological and physiological) across a broad range of contexts. Classical and slow-tempo music may enhance mood regulation and synchronize brainwave patterns, contributing to emotional well-being.
