asked a good question! I asked permission if I could share it here as I am sure a lot more peeps in the supplement space have very similar questions. "I have a Claud.ai conversation programmed with all of our product info as well clinical studies and a focus on being medically accurate in replies that I use for my customer service inquiries.Even though I try my best to keep that as compliant as possible (and I always add the disclaimer to everything that I am not a doctor and this is not medical advice and to always consult your doctor before adding supplements to your regimen), and I don’t make any big claims or talk about the healing them or anything, when I went to get general liability insurance recently, they said that what I am saying COULD be viewed as medical advice so if anyone ever comes back and says that my advice caused them to get hurt, I could sue.The insurance I’ve found to cover that is massively cost prohibitive (like 25k+ per year with a $25k deductible) so I’m wondering if you have any insight you could share on what small brands like me do when we can’t afford to have a chief science officer or doctor on-staff but still want to give insights to people who ask questions about their particular situations."
I posted my reply in the comments. Please share your experience as well!
