Use of language
Use of language is a question often asked.
The idea that poetry is better if it contains intelligent, articulated language over simple terms is a matter for the individual interpretation of the reader.
Everyone likes what they like and you must be careful not to fall into the common trap of trying to “Please the masses”.
My advice - Write how you write and it will find its audience.
It’s great to develop your skills and learn new words and ways of writing , but never doubt yourself or your writing due to comparisons against others.
Love and appreciate others work, but don’t doubt that others are doing the same to you because they are ✨
