Hi everyone 💛
A while back I shared that I was launching a Kickstarter for The Mom Brain Journal™.
Well… that didn’t exactly go as planned. Life did what life does — rocky rollercoaster and all.
So I embraced the pivot.
Instead of waiting for perfect conditions, I went straight to Amazon.
The actual thing? The book. It's officially published and available.
What makes this moment even wilder… on one of Sierra’s early webinars, we were prompted to write a note to ourselves. I found mine recently. I had signed it:
“I will write my journal this year.”
And now I’m holding it in my hands.
Here’s the beautiful twist — I actually started this year writing a completely different book. A memoir about my life. But something inside me said: create this first. Create the tool you need. Create it for moms like you.
So I did.
The Mom Brain Journal™ is a neuroscience-meets-real-life reflection guide for caregivers, moms, and women navigating shifts in identity, roles, power, ambition, overstimulation — all of it. It’s structured but not rigid. Supportive, not preachy. Not therapy. Not a fluffy gratitude notebook. It’s a grounded process to help you regulate, reflect, and think clearly again.
I use it myself with genuine awe that this is where my life has led — and this feels like the true beginning of my writing journey. I have so many ideas moving through me now, and I honestly don’t think I would’ve tapped into them without bringing this one to light first.
I truly don’t think this book would exist without this group.
That first webinar — especially the four phases of creativity — helped me move from circling the idea to finishing it. So thank you, Sierra. And thank you to everyone here who beta read, encouraged, and quietly supported.
The project is now a real, living book in the world.
Deep gratitude for this space and the push to pivot when it mattered most. 💛
