Stop Putting Out Brushfires
Most wrestlers are busy. But busy doing what?
You spend your whole week answering DMs. Editing one video. Arguing about your next booking fee. Fixing your website. Redesigning your logo for the fourth time. Chasing down a promoter who owes you 50 bucks.
That is not building a career. That is survival mode.
You feel like you are working hard. And you are. But there is no game plan behind any of it. You are just reacting to whatever fire pops up that day.
Here is the truth. There are only a few things you can do every single day that actually move the needle. Everything else is a brushfire.
The needle movers? Content that grows your Reach. Promos and matches that build your Reputation. Offers and products that generate Revenue.
That is it. Those three things. Everything else can wait or be handed off.
The wrestlers who make it are not the ones doing the most. They are the ones doing the right things. They are thinking about their audience. They are studying what works. They are creating something new that keeps fans coming back.
The ones who burn out? They are fixing the toilet. Metaphorically speaking. They are doing tasks that anyone could do while ignoring the work that only they can do.
You have to ask yourself one question every morning. Is what I am about to do going to grow my Reach, build my Reputation, or make me Revenue?
If the answer is no, it is a brushfire. Let it burn.
Work on your career. Not just in it.
What is the biggest brushfire eating up your time right now?
Drop it below and let's figure out how to kill it. 🔥
