I want to take a moment to shout out @Debra Morra, one of the first NewTubers in this community. Debra joined this group with only a great idea for a YouTube channel and a willingness to learn and seek out help along the way. She had never made a YouTube video before, never edited, never made a thumbnail… but she didn’t let that stop her. Debra knew that YouTube was becoming increasingly popular for TV viewers, and channels that lean into the “TV show” style could have an advantage. She wanted to visit antique shops all over, meet with the owners, discover hidden treasures, and share their stories with the world. Debra reached out to me immediately after joining NewTubers and asked to book a call. She told me her dream for her YouTube channel, and told me which parts she needed help with. I was able to give Debra personalized help with everything from channel artwork and branding, to thumbnail design and help with titles, to sessions where we would edit videos together, and more.
