✅ How To Make Community Posts For Your YouTube Videos
This sounds like this is something y’all would like to do here in the NewTubers community so here some example posts. Thank you to Emmett for being the first to dive in and make a post! Emmett’s post 👉 click here My post 👉 click here Some tips and guidelines: - you must be at level two or higher to be able to post in this community. This is not new, this is to reduce the risk of spam, but also to encourage new members to comment on other posts in order to level up. So if you’re still at level one, find some existing posts in the community and comment on them. You will level up as soon as five other people like your posts. And FYI, you don’t get any credit for “liking” your own posts, this is just how the Skool platform is set up. - You can put your post in either the “⭐️Share Your Videos!” category or the “🎥 Feedback Wanted” category. The only difference is whether or not you are seeking feedback for the sake of improvement. **NOTE** you may still end up getting unsolicited feedback from members if you post in the “⭐️Share Your Videos!” category, just because people will comment what they want lol my ask is that everyone stays POSITIVE with their comments and responses. These categories are loose guidelines. If rules change in the future, I’ll add it to the community rules section and let y’all know 🙂 - Your post should link to your video at least once, but I like linking it near the top and again near the bottom of the post - You are allowed to use AI to write your post, however my personal recommendation is to go in and edit some of what the AI spits out to make it feel more human and less like AI slop. People can tell the difference, and so can search engines. In my example post, I used Claude to create the initial post, but then made some of my own changes. I removed a lot of 👉hyphens—like👈 the one I just used in this sentence, because AI likes to throw those in EVERYWHERE lol. I also fixed the bullet points to be formatted correctly, and I added my own affiliate links (same things I linked to in the video). I made some other changes too where it felt like change was needed (this is an art, not a science). - I am okay with you including affiliate links in your post if it aligns with your video, but you MUST disclaim it in the post, where it is clear. Don’t try to hide the disclaimer, and don’t leave the disclaimer out altogether. If I see this, I’ll remove the post. There’s no reason to hide the fact that you are an affiliate. You put the effort into the content, and if people respect your effort, they won’t have an issue supporting you by using your links. Plus, the disclaimer is a legal requirement, so please just do it!
